Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 8 years.

Lilly, I find that sour and fermented foods (sauerkraut, pickled things, anything sour) really help with sugar cravings. When I watch your videos, I pray that all four children (your three and Nam's son) in your household grow to be mighty men and women of God who stay close to Jesus all their days.

Koh Samui has changed so much! We visited in 2006. The largest retail place was a Tesco. Half the island was covered in small forests, and there were only 3 or 4 really luxurious 5* hotels.

There’s foods that help get rid of sugar cravings. I’ve had sugar cravings since I was very small. I know green beans get rid of the craving. I forgot what else helps. I had stopped awhile back eating unhealthy foods, and a lot of breads, etc…. The hot tea with acv, and honey helped a lot. Lemon water like you suggested helps as well.

My ant was a nuse and she had a time when she would fill her pockets with sugar lumps to go to work. She had a stressful time. The dentist told her afterwards, no problems with your teeths, you must have needed it.
I have heard eating red cabbage can help.
In our church people leave out chocolate in spring time.
It could be that some people have been in contact with dengie fever but never noticed anything. This is also for people with covid and other viral infections. In the western world we have a lot of other viruses where some get very sick like ebstein bar and others have no problem.

I was addicted to diet coke, and that was the hardest thing to break, but I've been free of it for 10 years. When I was not doing refined sugar, I used to drink lemonade, so to deter that obsession, I ate limoted chunks of frozen pineapple. I couldn't eat much because it hurt my tongue to eat too much.

I haven't had any soda for about 15 years. After a couple of years you'll taste the chemicals and not want soda anymore. Better to make your own carbonated soda with juice...
PS: I am also struggling with a terrible sugar addiction...It's always a challenged I know I use it as a way to sweeten my life since I have no partner.
I remember when my kids were little sometimes I wish they would stay little before you know it they’ve grown up and become grown adults
I’d found that sugars give a person an initial boost of zip but bring people into a low. Leaves you feeling draggy. I’m thankful that my body has developed an allergy to sugars. I have no cravings for sweets. The sugars burn my body so I have no desire for sweetened foods either.
