As a DVC owner at SSR , I agree with your assessment of the Turf Club. Usually have just ate there on a travel day when we are tired and don't wanna go far
The mint julep there is horrific. 19 bucks or something too . tasted like dish water and alcohol

Purchased DVC at Saratoga in 2004 at that time and for many years after, I found The Turf Club to be fantastic. At some point they changed the menu (more than once) and then they took my favorites off the menu and it became "just ok." I do still love the Saratoga counter service, The Artist Palette.

thats why when i stay at saratoga i stay in congress park so i can just walk to disney springs at eat there..

Thanks for the B-roll on this. I'm staying there for the first time in a few months so it is cool to see around the area as well as the food offerings. Do they do breakfast there? That might be a better meal to have there. Also have you guys done restaurant reviews for breakfasts and lunches at some of the spots you've done dinner reviews at? I'm pretty sure you may have but I wouldn't mind seeing that kind of stuff as well to see how the meals compare.

Not sure what they were thinking with the agave syrup in the julep. Need to muddle the mint down into the bourbon to boost the mint flavor. As the official drink of the Ky Derby and my time working concessions there, I’ve served thousands of these over a 11 yr time frame.

Just FYI for everyone. Chef Tim Majoras who famously turned the Flying Fish into what it is today has been promoted recently (A month ago or so) to the Food and Bev Director for the Riviera, OKW, and Saratoga. People talk about Turf Club with some reverence, in the past that is. Long time Saratoga DVC owners used to really like Saratoga, but it went downhill some time some where. It's commonly seen as one of the worst places on Disney property, because as Dan and Leslie point out.... it's hard to get by with DECENT food when there's GREAT food looking right at you within walking distance to Disney Springs. Hopefully Chef Tim really turns Turf Club around! I'd love to see you guys revisit this one in a year or so to see if they get their poop together.
