This looks fantastic. When you paint just do the blue and red scheme as on stock parts and then in place of white just keep exposed carbon fiber it will look amazing.
I think some anodised screws would be a nice touch. The regular silver ones contrast the carbon fibre too much atm. Or maybe they will be fine when it's all painted 🙃
I'm getting my 2020 S1K here in Canada this spring and my plan is to put carbon fiber on all the black plastic parts of the bike. I'd like to preserve the OEM painted colours.
Just imagine crashing that carbon beast.. I don't think my heart would be able to take it if it was my bike. Nice video ! That bike is starting to look sick!
Awesome. I just installed my whole set of carbon and now I have it with the painter. I hope it turns out.. your bike will be amazing I am sure you will like the carbon.
bro u should look into a frame stand lift jack for your bike, i used to have it for my 999 and you can free spin the bike and totally utilize your space and maximize everything along with lifting the bike off the ground so u can keep the tires off the ground and treat your baby best you can!! check it out its an awesome lift setup, and dont have to get front and rear stands and front or rear wheel spools so u can have a lift point. -P3T3R
Bike looks so clean now. This is how 650ib should have done it instead of gluing on carbon parts. Actually getting rid of weight instead of adding more.
Just as a tip for the Philips screws - don't use that big of a head on the screw driver. On ~7.50 you can see you are killing the screw by rounding its head. Standard size is PH2. Keep up the good work, it's coming along perrrrfect! Regards from Sweden!
Hi Motonosiity. You covered a piece that I'm having trouble with. Your favorite piece, the side tank fairing with the original OEM insert: I can't seem to pry off the original insert from the original fairing due to the metal clips holding it in place. How did you remove this? You fast forwarded through the part I was most interested in. I assume they should just pop off, but I'm having to bend the plastic so much I'm afraid of cracking it. How did you get it off? Many thanks.
Schmee150 did a cool thing to his car. They paint a transparent peelable film onto the panel. It can then be painted like any normal panel. So dead easy to go back to the original carbon this way!
Wow mate it's gonna be the most sickest BMW S1000R. You are my favorite MotoVlogger and I'm not just saying it I actually mean it. Can't wait for the Part2 👍 Keep up the good work and give a kiss to your son from me he's so cute MashAllah
Bro, that’s a dream bike!!! I always dream with a full carbon fiber bike and, if this isn’t enough, I love the new S1000RR 😂 best combination! Keep with the upgrades and congrats for the achievment! 😉
When I have plastic body pins that give me a hard time I use a Sheetrock screw and heat up the end and screw it in to get a good bite on the plastic screw. I then buy a replacement body pin.
I’ll never be able to afford to do this but it is get to see the bike disassembled. Looks great. 650ib did the swing arm and frame covers. Are you doing the same?
Would look better with the painted side tail pieces on top of the carbon and also the painted top tank cover. Imo it would look best if u only replaced the abs plastic parts with carbon.
At 12:37 it seem like the small top fairing for the tail on the brake side didnt pop into place correctly at the end, not sure if thats the case, just sayin... Great video tho, looking forward for the next one!
I would like to see some refreshed outlooks on getting into motorcycle riding now that you have experience & safety in concerns heading a family. Many like myself are on the fence of owning bikes & would like some insight on mindset when riding which has the stigma of being hazardous
From personal experience I’ve been riding since i was 21 and I’m 33 now. Ive had some close calls over the years but I’ve had worse close calls in my truck which isn’t as fast or nimble. For a beginner i would say its a great sport and nothing else can compare to ride of a bike. For reference I have a 2010 bmw s1000rr but my first bike was a 95 honda super hawk. Take a motorcycle class first to see if you even like it but trust me you will be hooked. Ive also been married for 10 years and my kids are 14 and 8. I don’t ride often but when i do it still brings a smile to my face with a flick of the wrist. It does come with its share of dangers as with anything you do in life does. Just remember its not the vehicle its more about the mind of the person riding it. You can dive a bike really slow and a car really fast. Just my two cents. But if you need any more advice on bikes or the sport in general don’t hesitate to hit me up bro.
Riding is exactly as dangerous as you make it. Yes people can turn in front of you but if you're riding appropriate for the conditions you can usually predict and/or avoid accidents. Motorcycle crash statistic are super inflated because a lot of motorbike riders kill themselves - don't expect that a car will see you when you're lane splitting at 100+ mph. Riding is amazing and it teaches you more about the road than you'll ever learn from driving. It's so worth just doing a course and getting your permit - no one says you have to commit to riding full time 👍
Felt weird to listen, figured the background music was not the mice lofi hip-hop beats I feel I'm used to in your videos, still the bike looks freaking awesome
Hey Moto wouldn’t weighing the carbon pieces with the OEM panel and clips installed give you the actual weight savings since that’s what’s going back on the bike? If you weigh them without the panel + clips it’s not how much weight you’re saving it’s the difference in the full OEM assembly vs the unassembled carbon piece. I can’t wait to see the whole bike in carbon it’s going to be gorgeous 😍
@@Johnside._ bro I'm OBSESSED, I legitimately stopped editing my first Motovlog to watch this video. Brent had been a huge inspiration to me, so I feel the need to repay him for it and comments are a way of helping support creators due to the algorithm 😁
This is so cool, I've always been following your builds, and wishing I can afford to buy my dream bike which is also the same as yours, can't wait for the finished look😃 sending lots of love from the Philippines👌👍💪
What happened to the weight difference you said You would post at the end of the video!?!? Super interested in seeing how much weight this save ! 🙏 looks sick though 🤙
A full ser of carbon fibre cost how much?? But they want you to transfer the damn little tab thingys??! C'mon!!! ... like how much would it cost them to add tabs to the carbon pieces that require em.. thats my only gripe
Looks great. I’ve just taken delivery of my 2020 S1000RR and looking at carbon options too, so this video is perfect timing. How does the quality of Ilmberger carbon compare with that of BMW’s own M Performance carbon parts? I was leaning towards M Performance carbon but after seeing your video the quality of Ilmberger looks very high. Please can you provide feedback as I’ve never seen them side by side to compare. Thanks 👍🏼
I have al the BMW carbon parts and a bellypan from Ilmberger. It is a 100% match in color, weave and finish. They say say Ilmberger makes the BMW M carbon parts.
This looks fantastic. When you paint just do the blue and red scheme as on stock parts and then in place of white just keep exposed carbon fiber it will look amazing.
Thats actually a nice idea... It would look sick..
_That'll be a cool look_ 😃
yup some has done it and its nice
Id love to see stock decals over the carbon parts. The contrast would look crazy good.
Hey, install PPF on yr carbon, to protect from scratches...
I think some anodised screws would be a nice touch. The regular silver ones contrast the carbon fibre too much atm. Or maybe they will be fine when it's all painted 🙃

That looks so gangster with the carbon back end, I have had to pause the video, can’t wait to see the final results of this bike.
That seat with the carbon sides on the tank and the factory pieces attached looks so good. Didn't know you could make an M even better.
Everything carbon. With the red and blue decals. No whites. Imagine that. 🔥
anybody else notice how gentle motonosity is with EVERYTHING? hahaha i would have already scratched half the CF pieces.
Just imagine crashing that carbon beast.. I don't think my heart would be able to take it if it was my bike. Nice video ! That bike is starting to look sick!
Awesome. I just installed my whole set of carbon and now I have it with the painter. I hope it turns out.. your bike will be amazing I am sure you will like the carbon.
the oem white with the carbon looks sweet!!!

Problem is they are super shallow. A smaller tip couldn't grab. As long as I had a good angle my larger one worked best.
Bro this bike is gonna look sick af!!
Wow looks awesome already, love the fact you kept the red white and blue insert piece in , outstanding job looking forward to more vids.
I've been waiting soooo lonnnnggg. My thirst for carbon fiber has been quenched. Can't wait for part two dho 😍😍
Looks great! Can’t wait to see it with all the carbon fiber and the paint.
One sick build Moto. Really excited to see what you do with painting the carbon !
Fantastic bro i like it❤❤❤😮😮
The carbon is a great idea to contrast the blue and red
I've been waiting all week for this 🙊 Suuuper excited.. Perfect way to end off my Friday 👌
u should keep the naked carbon look for some time bcs it looks rly good

Loving the full carbon look! Finished result will be straight fire!

Great video, but why not paint the pieces before installing?

If you don’t mind...what was the tip u used to remove the chainguard screws? Or was it just a Phillips screwdriver?
Bikes looking amazing. Can't wait to see the final product.
Think about putting some nice graphics stickers on the carbon pieces.
Look at that smile if that doesn’t make you melt then you’re not human😍
When I have plastic body pins that give me a hard time I use a Sheetrock screw and heat up the end and screw it in to get a good bite on the plastic screw. I then buy a replacement body pin.
I know I’m kinda late but what you think about the exhaust. I just got my 2022 and I’m in the market for an exhaust
You should paint the carbon to match the OEM M-sport colors, that would be soooo sweet👌
I’ll never be able to afford to do this but it is get to see the bike disassembled. Looks great. 650ib did the swing arm and frame covers. Are you doing the same?

Moto...I think you maybe will need to remove all that you did today to install the chassis and swing arm covers....right?
I was smiling all time watching this video. Amazing
Is that the harbor freight bike lift? Been thinking about getting one!
That inaccessible space looks perfect for a sneaky Pete nitrous kit.

Great viddy man truly satisfying with all that carbon 🤟😌

I think u should have used the oem side tail panels instead of the carbon ones I think it'll look better
Can't wait to see how it will look when it's finished.. oooo.. bikeporn!!!! 🤩🤩

Can you do a proper POV walkaround videos? looks great!!!
Killer setup man
Will you be doing a track day when it starts to warm up?
Heck yeah. I'm hoping to do quite a few this year.
Great work.... Especially doing it by yourself and your kiddos help 🤪. Very informative
I dont know about the gloss carbon , i think the Matt carbon would look better? Just my opnion but still, the gloss carbon is very nice.
What is the total weight saved? I would do the wheels first
Yo that plate is slammed! Is it a flip plate or just a mount that lays flat? It’s sick. Do the cops hassle you about it?
Daaaaaayum! Look at the ruckus 🛵🤩
... have been waiting all week to see!!!

OMG it looks sooooooo good
I think I am in love AGAIN with this bike
Carbon game strong 🔥
Going to look good man,so what happened to the groom project is that a dead deal?

🤤🤤🤤
The best way to end the week
That looks so good can't wait till the whole bike is finished 😀🏍️ from north of England Uk
will you ppf the bike?
will be a nice video if possible! :D
I think you should buy a stock graphics package and lay the blue and red OVER the new carbon fiber and it would look AMAZING.
All those boxes in the back... moving again? Also the carbon, areeeeeaaaaaal nice 👌🏻
Would you not paint them first?
What happened to the weight difference you said You would post at the end of the video!?!? Super interested in seeing how much weight this save ! 🙏 looks sick though 🤙
I was so tired and my brain wasn't working 😩😭 Next episode!
@@motonosity legend !!! Can't wait
Full carbon fiber build will be better 👍💪
You just need some black titanium screws now
dang.. im such a sucker for anyting carbon fiber.. that looks sooooooo gooodd!!!!
Looks great doesn’t look that difficult
How much weight total so far shaved off?
A full ser of carbon fibre cost how much?? But they want you to transfer the damn little tab thingys??! C'mon!!! ... like how much would it cost them to add tabs to the carbon pieces that require em.. thats my only gripe
I paint uni to get a carbon gas tank to match the color of the carbon
loving this series!!!!!
I think its better if you put titanium bolts.
Looks so good. 👍
Why didn't you try carbon fiber skinning before buying super expensive parts?
That looks sick, love me some carbon fiber!
I love it, damn this bike looks nice 😍 nice job really cant wait to see the end result 👌
Nice job. Needs the blue on the tank...
I love it! Good work
