Unplug the washing machine and disconnect the water hoses.

Clean the detergent dispenser and fabric softener dispenser. Remove the dispensers from the washing machine and soak them in a mixture of warm water and vinegar for 30 minutes. Then, scrub them with an old toothbrush and rinse them thoroughly with water.
Clean the rubber gasket around the door. The rubber gasket can trap dirt and mildew, so it is important to clean it regularly. Use a damp cloth dipped in vinegar to wipe down the gasket.
Clean the drum of the washing machine. Pour two cups of vinegar into the drum and run a full wash cycle with hot water. Once the cycle is complete, wipe down the drum with a damp cloth.
Clean the lint filter. Remove the lint filter from the washing machine and rinse it under running water. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove any lint that is trapped in the filter.
Reconnect the water hoses and plug in the washing machine.
