BONAIRE: September 2022, an excursion, Celebrity Equinox

Join us as we go on yet another adventure, this time we are on the island of Bonaire in the southern Caribbean. We booked this excursion online, through Celebrity cruise lines. By booking this excursion ahead of time, online, we saved some money. We payed $57.99 per person online and although I don't remember how much it was once we got onboard the ship, I do know it was a decent savings; my recommendation is to book online ahead of time for any and all excursions.
We started on an open air bus, which a little bit rough. We had a tour guide on the bus as well as a driver. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and we enjoyed the information very much. We learned a good bit of information about the salt flats and mining of it. We ended our tour at a beautiful beach club where we were greeted with a bottle of water and fresh watermelon. The beach chairs/beds were included in the price of the excursion so you did not need to spend any additional money while you were there but they did offer food and drink if you so desired. we spent about 2 hours at the beach club and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would recommend this tour if you are interested in learning some things about Bonaire and then going to the beach for a little while.

Catching up on this, very nice video. We are doing the ABC tour in March on Celebrity Millennium. This is a makeup from cancelled cruises during the pandemic, so we're really looking forward to Bonaire. We booked Bonaire Cruisers golf cart, many people have raved about that. Wondering if you have used them in Bonaire in the past. Thanks for the tips on snorkeling, really looking forward to that as well.

Is it worth to be bring snorkeling equipment? I think we are on same tour..so time might be a factor..to lug snorkeling stuff with us

We brought our own snorkeling masks/snorkels many times. We think it’s a smart thing to do. We never brought the flippers. We hope you enjoy the excursion as much as we did 🥰☺️
