1:40 that is indeed Nerissa, as well as her 2 older sisters. The one with the ring like horn is the oldest sister (Malpha), who changed from a demon to a priestess of light after marrying an angel, so now her horns form a short of halo. The other sister is Aradia, who is still a full on demon like Rissa.

Malpha is also pregnant at that time so her "cream my ass" line is even more funnier lol

When they do the 3D collbas, the Hololive members that don't live in Japan fly there, where Hololive has a massive studio with some big rooms with cameras on the walls, and a big green room for the tracking. So yeah, in that 3rd clip where Altare and Axel hug, they were all in Japan for their 3D debut. It's pretty awesome
The two other girls in the first clip are Nerissa's IRL older sisters. Pale blue Malpha is the eldest sister, married with multiple children, hence her comment about "my husband could join". The pink haired Aradia is the middle sister, married with no children. Nerissa is the youngest sister. Nerissa had designs made for her entire family, so them all having the same aesthetic is very much on purpose.
So far, both older sisters and their mother have all been on Nerissa's streams. IIRC, there was a half-joking promise to bring her dad on for an episode if she reached a certain subscriber milestone, and a joke for her younger brother to also appear with an even further milestone.
TL;DR, The entire Ravencroft family took over Nerissa's channel.
It got more because Bagel was a new element and turned out to be very delightful, we're still here to because both of you are new to this and want to see you discover stuff, just like we all did.

When Hololive/Holostars do these big (free camera) 3D model streams like 5:00 in means they are in the Japan studio together. Usually this will only happen with EN members if they are debuting their 3D models or happen to be in Japan for an event/big promotional thing/concert. The exception being some concerts outside of Japan, Cover Corp has a remote setup they can bring to other countries or pre-record (
From what members have talked about, it apparently involves full performance capture suits and tons of room cameras - combining multiple tracking models for as much accuracy as possible. No direct facial tracking though, since that would be pretty unwieldy (mouth movements are mainly by sound, so they had to innovate to account for Kaela's silent laugh).
First clip the other two are not vtubers, those are her older sisters and people drew them as they featured on her stream and she used them for this
And the 3d streams like where the guys were together and Kobo showed up are done in a studio together IRL
when you see Hololive/Holostars talents together in 3d they are in the same room and interact irl, for those they use their 3d studio in Japan. When the 3d is in a normal stream they use a home 3d setup with their 3d models and they dont need to be in the same room.
Since you usually seem interested in the tech side of vtubing, you should check out a tour of Hololive's new (now just kind of new) office and studio. There's a video titled "Coverage of COVER's new studio! motion capture studio and autograph area by HOLOLIVE members!" with subtitles that explains and shows quite a bit.

Oh yeah Best of Holo Feb 2024 was a blast. I almost forgot about the whole Palworld phase they went through (honestly, we probably all went through that). Love the moment at 11:47 too when Bae got so tilted she went full Aussie.

Funny enough recently Nerissa mentioned she had a funny moment involving management. Turns out some people in management were not aware that she'd had her family on the stream so many times and were like "next time let us know!". While she didn't go out and say out, I think someone on the English side of management forgot to bring things up with JP management. If that's the case, they probably got an earful for that one.

For big agency like Hololive, they have their own big 3D studio to stream and record. Their studio is pretty much very advanced with motion capturing, so things like you see with the bois is pretty much common in 3D live.

Generally, full 3D involves Cover’s 3D studio, which involves going to Japan to record there for those who don’t live in Japan. This means we can actually see IRL interactions to an extent when the members are in full 3D.
Again, I’d love to see you react to the free previews for HoloEN’s concert Breaking Dimensions. I’d also enjoy it if you checked out the parts of their new project, ENigmatic Recollection, which has a trailer and a music video for Chapter 1, “Start Again”.
