It is amazing how many people ride the wrong way....mainly it is necause they ride with a cinch that is way roo short and can't double the latigo.....others just do not have any idea
Larry - quick question that is somewhat related to this. How do you put away the breast collar? Do you keep it attached to the saddle or what? I've tried a bunch of different things and it still manages to flop under the saddle when I swing it up on my horse. I've always wondered how trainers do it.
Okay, this can vary. I usually take the breast collar all the way off my saddle. Why? Because I use my saddles on multiple horses. A few may need a breast collar but most don't. Here's the deal... If the saddle fits a horse well, a breast collar is seldom needed.
