Beautiful boat, the dodger, and the railing with the capability to stow the life raft and the stern perch seats are great. She does seem well equipped and in good order.

Did you pay for it in pesos? There’s a boat in puerto Vallarta I’m looking at in pesos but it has a TIP.

No in US dollars . All the transactions are done through a title company . If you buy it you will need to get the TIP cancelled and get a new one to match your registration wherever you register it . The title company takes care of all the paperwork but not the TIP . There are people who can do that for you as it is a complicated thing to do (sometimes)

I sailed one of these from San Carlos to San Diego for someone! Little itty bitty gas tanks but handled really well! Looks great Kev!!

Hi Mike , Fortunately the previous owners fitted the factory option extra fuel tanks but it’s still only adds up to 80 odd gallons . Will put 20 in the deck in jerry cans

Congrats Kevan, did you consider any catamarans - I have been attracted to cats because of level sailing - stability. I know the high end cats are quite pricy with dual diesel engines - but I was looking at smaller 35 foot cats (single engine with disadvantage of reduced maneuverability -like Gemini 105Mc or a Prout)

Didn’t consider a cat due to the limited availability of slips in Mexico . Having a cat makes it even harder , either end ties ( which are few and far between ) or paying 150% of a mono hull slip fee . In peak season , 200% because they sometimes take up two slips if the slip is design for two mono hulls

Nearly 2.5 years ownership Although I have been cruising in the Sea of Cortez for 12 years on previous boats . Time to do something different . Have just completed the 800km Camino de Santiago walk

These are known as one of the few large boats that will actually surf. Post videos if you manage to get it going that fast.

Having lived in Australia, it would be great to surf. I'll definitely have the camera ready for some boat surfing but not near land eh !
