    Had no idea this channel or interview existed, super happy it was recommended. Super chill talk with some heavy subjects that you guys touched on. Rob seems like a super genuine guy.

      He is super genuine. Back when I first started doing interviews, Robman was always one of the first batch of people I wanted to get on to record. Was surprised just how much recording time we ended up doing lol

    All respect always to AVGN for being the first, but HappyConsoleGamer is a much better channel by far if ya ask me (especially nowadays) and RobMan is a huge part of that. All hail The RobMan!

      Def better now. But you can't beat classic avgn

    • @SPG8989
      @SPG8989 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@tom-u8k6y didnt james come out and say he was never even that big of a gamer? He was always more a movie guy and filmmaker? I think he wanted to use avgn to propel him into something more and possibly into tv or movies and since that never happened he is stuck doing avgn if he wants to make a living in filmmaking so I can see why he sucks now. While hcg is obviously a gamer first and just gets paid to share his passions. I like HCG but his stuff is even a little old now imo. I love his passion bit at the same time it becomes a bit much at times especially with guests and he just kinda yammers over them

    I was bullied every day for many years by my much older brothers, whom were traumatized by some horrid events and took it out on me. I was on antidepressants for many years of my youth. The fact is, regular exercise has been well proven to increase neurotransmitters, like serotonin, far more than any reuptake medication. The difficult thing is getting moving. Discipline and forgiveness were my most valued tools in getting my life together.... I understand that may be very difficult if you have a physical disfigurement.
    Great interview. Love the Rob man.

    I was severely bullied in school to the point of litigation (which ended in my favor) and homeschooling/private schooling. 8/10 adults chose to turn a blind eye or bully me themselves, especially certain teachers. I was abused at home and they could smell the weakness radiating off of me. Finally, the school calls in a child psychologist who speaks to me for two hours. I explain the beatings, having my clothes thrown in the toilet, etc. At the end of the session he tells me, "If anyone of them touches you again, aim for their nose and hit hard, hit like you're hitting one of those punch tests at the arcade. Only hit them once. They'll respect you after that." He was right. That was exactly what I needed to hear at 12 years old.

    Im so so soooo happy Rob talks about all this with mental awareness tbh. Being one who lives with Spastic Paralysis in my legs (i do walk with a rollator) and a bit in my hands, and the childhood i´ve been though i can just sit and totally agree with Rob here about things! Im a very open person myself and so glad that people get to open more and more up about these things because there´s some people who need to hear this especially if you are parenting :)

    regarding the 39min mark - I had panic attacks my whole life. Never did anything for them and it got debilitating. I had a crappy doctor my whole life who kept giving me different anti-anxiety pills on and off and told me to blow into a paper bag if i had an attack it was all BS. This went on for 14 years. My now wife encouraged me to get a new doctor. My new doctors took it very serious and now just one pill a day and my whole life has changed, and it's been almost 3 years! If anyone is reading this don't give up and keep trying different medication or doctors etc. I would have never thought this would be possible.
