Great job John -love the blitzer beetle - must be in the dunes !.........................I had wondered if you would catch it in your hand at the end ....................??
That was fun to watch. Great action, great choice of music, and great editing. Your camera operator's work is superb. The low angle action shots, sand flying in the face, the low angle following sequences, all top notch stuff. Wouldn't mind seeing more like this. Don't quit the flying stuff, but this is something new and different, and it is fantastic!
Hi John Great little video and perfect music. I still have my BeachBuggy that my Dad built back in the 60s and this brought me back to driving the dunes in California USA. Not sure if you would like to buy I have a small rc rockcraller and I used a AKK FX-3 and hot glued it looking out the window and drive it looking through fpv googles. It's fun ! I have a video with it. Thanks again for the video.
Absolutely mesmerized by the low POV shots!! GoPro on a stick? Brilliant! Love the shots with the stones and pebbles flying. More magic from Perranpoth!
Yup, GoPro on a stick. I filmed it early morning and it was quite hard with the sun low in the sky. One side was looking into the sun, but from the other side you got the shadow of the camera in shot.
Your wife is a good sport! That must have looked comical with her driving and you running alongside with a stick! 👍😂 Fantastic cinematography and music!
Nice Tamiya Beetle blitzing! My first real Hobby grade RC car was a Tamiya Sand Scorcher In 1979! Nice way to rip the dunes good to see you mix it up! What beach is that the sets of waves were rolling in @ 1:45 into the vid and at the same time you stood it on the back bumper! Cool! Have a happy Easter!
Hi there, the beach In background is Perranporth. My first proper RC car was the Rough Rider. The body soon got broken so my Dad got us the Sand Scorcher body to go on it. Funnily enough, I recently bought myself a new Sand Scorcher to relive my childhood a little. There is a short video of it on my channel somewhere
@@SlopeRCGliders That is very interesting because I converted my Scorcher to a Rough Rider! Lol, Nice! Sadly and regrettably I sold mine and too wish to someday get another one... I will browse your channel to see your Sand Scorcher in action, I still think it's one of the coolest RC cars ever! Have a great day, thanks for sharing!
What a awesome retro RC car, and the videography is amazing as always, was your wife on the camera for this one too? Either way great job, she does such an amazing job on your slope soaring gliders.
Hi John, I see by the comments Katherine was having all the fun and giving you a workout. :-) How much sand did you have to clean out of the gear train? You both stay safe.
You've got your poor camera-wife running after a silly little car with a camera on a stick now then ? I cannot condone this. At least she deserves some spectacular compensation for this :-) Of course I'll give it a thumbs-up ... but still ... a non flying thing... how pedestrian !
Quite spectacular! Can imagine all the giggles putting that together...

I agree 🤩
Wow, great video. The Blitzer is perfect for the beach and looks the business :-)

Amazing film content from the Good Lady. At one point I thought the beetle was going to sprout wings and glide of the Cliff or is that yet to come!

I would love to see a video of your videographer chasing your Blitzer through the hills and sand!
Too much fun John. Coincidentally, I just purchased a 1/5 scale Rovan 30.5cc buggy and am enjoying the same fun!

It’s like watching “R/C and LEGO” videos his are pretty cool too. I like the chase view.
Awesome John!
❤️Tamiya
When your slope soaring muscle memory kicks in and you chuck your rc car off a cliff. 😭
Great footage I think i have Sand between my Teeth.🤗👍

Very cool, but does it glide well?

We swapped around for this one. She was driving, I was filming
@@SlopeRCGliders John, I envy you for a partner like that.
My wife doesn't want to know anything about model making, she thinks this is a plaything
Absolutely need the out-takes from this one :-)
Hi John,

I took longer cleaning it, than playing with it.
@@SlopeRCGliders I bet, but she was having fun throwing around all that sand. :-)
Cool filming techniques, your partner should get some kind of award TBH....😀🤔🤔🇬🇧
She really should, the framing when she films his gliders is spot on, seriously professional like.
That's fun John, did you follow the action with a miniature drone 😁
Just a GoPro on a stick.
MrJohn, are you expecting to design a flying Beetle too?
Watch this space.....
Troppo bellina questa macchinina
You fly, you drive, just its time for a ship now.
When can we see you with a ship
I have built boats in the past...
@@SlopeRCGliders And, where are these Boats?
I sold them all.
why cover the car sound with music?
The video is all running at 1/2 speed so it needs a soundtrack adding as the original sound is distorted.
❤️❤️❤️
Again!
good

It was actually me filming and her driving!

Jhon, ogni tanto torni ai motori...
Cool. I've never been first here before.
First!
