You probably have been to a few places where films have been made like the Adelaide Railway Station was used in the filming of Gallipoli with Mel Gibson back in 1980 before he became famous in Hollywood. He was there for the Cairo, Egypt ballroom scenes. The last scenes of the movie were in South Australia too. And a film called Robbery Under Arms was made in the ancient Flinders Ranges to the north of Adelaide in the outback with Sam Neill (Jurasic Park). Pity you didn't go to Granite Island when you were in Port Elliott - it was in the next town Victor harbour a slight jetty walk away. And of course you missed Kangaroo Island too. But you can't see everything and glad you liked your visit.
Nice video guys. It's great to see you cover Adelaide and other parts of SA, unlike 99% of similar videos that just do Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane/East Coast or Perth.
I was a policeman at Warrnambool and my wife and I and 2 year old daughter were visiting tower hill with friends and my daughter was sitting a child’s seat in back seat. The window was open about six inches . She was eating a sandwich, an Emu put its head thru the window and grabbed my daughters sandwich out of hand and swallowed it. My daughter burst into tears. That was 1974.
Amazing how many people complain about pronunciation, when those people only speak one language. They are the same people that say butta and not butter.
Exactly. The pronunciation of words (especially the names of places and things) are really not that important in any conversation. Keeping goodwill and friendship between people is much more important.
@@BobLouden-r9q emu est emu dans n'importe quelle langue, surtout lorsque vous parlez anglais… ce n'est que par ignorance que vous semblez parler couramment…🤬🤡

I‘m hungry now😂
Emooos... vs Emu's
That‘s when you pronounce the letter „o“ wrong. 😉
Emu is pronounced eemyou
Its Robe not Rope
True! 😅
I was just about to say that
Yeah, knew it but made the misstake anyways. 🙈
Aussies pronounce E-mew
Love the vids but it’s not emoos it’s em-you’s…hearing emoos makes my ears cringe…
Opala! 🤭
@@mickdundee2642 You must be fluent in how many languages ??.
That is actually correct pronunciation, not E-MUE. Anyway, what right do you have to tell someone how to say something?
