Labrys definitely deserves more; her story in P4AU kind of dropped off somewhere and she was honestly one of more interesting characters. Sho was interesting too; hope both get more screentime or at least get referenced in any future games
Cool that Atlus add spin off characters, especially the ones connected to the main story; Sho and Labrys background were connected to the events of Persona 3. Even though Atlus thought of another spin off canon arena game, this time with Persona 5 characters, I agree as I read the manga of arena ultimax, which has a more detailed description of the game events, especially about Sho being well done plus his epilogue in which he travels around the world with no more hatred and optism for the future. Like I thought the next arena this time introduce a new playable character, later on integrate into the main series P6 as the story driven party member.
Vanessa Chow Jia Ying Labrys and Sho will get more screen time not for a long while but ill be thrill and happy they deserve it plus spin off characters always makes the story more great and plot twisting
Well I bought the manga in Japanese and I can read Japanese. Sho's backstory was more well done in the manga version, especially the time he encounters the personality from the Plume of Dusk Minazuki. It even shows how he got the Yasogami Uniform, which was during the escape from the hospital in Inaba, plus learning about Shuji's death, which was a nasty denial over Minazuki, resulting in Sho stabbing himself, thus gaining the forehead scar. Once you read the manga version, you will feel more sympathetic for Sho. For my idea of the spin off character becoming part of the main series and plot relevant, my idea is that he's a first year Shujin Academy student during the time of P5A if it does become true. Unlike the Phantom Thieves who uses masks, his Persona invocation is through a mysterious stone embedded on his fingerless glove, plus his combat outfit to hide his appearance was custom made by himself during the fight in the Shadow World Arena. He's a close combat fighter, using arms and leg guards which later on being his weapons in P6, not sure for Arcana but I thought of Emperor, Strength due to his fight being related to the future enemies of Persona 6, plus him partly troubled by this despite being fine in school as a ace student. At that time, Futaba was his senior as a 2nd year and he knew most of the P5 cast due to his senior and a regular customer in Leblanc. Also my idea for the conclusion in Arena is that once the danger was settled, he acts oblivious towards the P5 cast in the cafe but knows that he have to deal with the true enemy, the main antagonists in P6 main himself. By the time he arrives in 6, he's a 2nd year high transfer and initially fought alone until the new group found him out in his struggle. For the new crew, the protagonist I thought of is canon girl and unlike most of the past protagonists, she's 15 and just started high school. The academy the main crew attends is both a combined middle and high school plus also an escalator system. The protagonist I have drawn is a songstress, have a soft but determined voice, which later being serious and high passion vocals when singing, in which she sings in some of the relevant plot points. I also thought of the party members; 2 are classmate (girl under lovers and fashion club and boy under Emperor and fencing club), 2 2nd years (1 girl under priestess and spin off arena character boy from past description) and a 2nd year middle boy navigator under fortune.
I can only imagine the phantom thieves fear like Ren: alright so were getting another gues- *pauses* Ren: he has two blades and a persona- and its not in the metaverse Mona: u h Lavenza: *big shrug*
I love that there are straight up at least 3 known literal androids in the Persona universe, and that fact is only even tangentially addressed in the Arena games thanks to the existence of Labrys lol

Margaret also appears in P5/P3 dancing as a partner for some songs. Also Margaret debuted in P4 as that came out in 2009 and Margaret is only in the PSP version of Persona 3 which came out in 2010.

As someone who's played the dancing games, that speed and sheer amount of notes clustered together just gives me anxiety... God I love that modifier that sets the note speed to "super fast", gives me bonus score and calms me a little! Seriously though, this guy is so much better than me and I imagine way more relaxed than me, so good job!
Honestly I am surprised that they did not have a reference to Métis I mean yeah sure it would be like labrys but still I think if they wanted to add dlc for Métis they could remix heartful cry or something give her a partner dance with aegis yukari or junpei since neither one danced in regular heartful cry with aegis but only one and maybe Elizabeth or labrys as a surprise one they could have unique dialogue like Elizabeth commenting about Métis and aegis being similar yet different and labrys questioning how there is another shadow weapon still working but overall I would choose her to dance with either aegis labrys yukari and makoto I mean makoto and Métis dancing seems sweet in thought at least for me.

He debuted in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, so a lot of people don't know about him. His name is Sho Minazuki. (And actually, there's two of him - you can see how his dance style changes dramatically for that one portion, that's his "other soul" taking over.)
Possibly unpopular opinion: I like his English voice better. Kenichi Suzumura is a great voice actor, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think he suits Sho that well.

Possibly unpopular opinion: I like his English voice better. Kenichi Suzumura is a great voice actor, don't get me wrong, but I just don't think he suits Sho that well.

Not really? They mixed it with Minazuki's theme and changed the vocals around a bit, I think it works just fine...
Now, if you're talking about Marie dancing to the original song in P4D, yes, they butchered it. (But let's not go there.)

@@gyppygirl2021 I know this is old, but I warmed up to it, I think I was just being a bit too much of a purist for the song, I mean I still think that the original is better but I don't think they butchered it anymore id rate it like a 7.5-8.0/10
I really don't like the second Your Affection remix. Way too much going on in the song.
