What a beautiful little town. You were in the eastern panhandle and I grew up in the northern panhandle. As a matter of fact the town I grew up in is the northern most in the state of WV. Steel mills, potteries, horse racing and gambling. The northern panhandle where all the towns are small, well all except Weirton and Wheeling. Thanks for a great video, Bill.
You also forgot to mention that it used to be called Mecklenburg when the Germans settled on the Potomac River and then became what it is today, Shepherdstown.
