This cafe is really famous for being delicious! Most maid cafes are known to have mid or below average food, but this place apparently has regulars that go JUST to eat.
She said over 100kg for the blue, I had to look it up it's 220lbs so honestly not far off 😂 It's not as heavy as I would've thought, people really carry weight differently!
I was a little nervous seeing the title of this video as I used to be overweight and had such a hard time with teasing. Even now, I am not stick-thin and feel self-conscious. But I am so glad that these girls seem to be positive and happy and I was especially glad to hear that girl who had a dream of working in a maid cafe, had her dream come true! :)
As a plus size Korean unicorn, I think Jimmy was just unsure of what the plus size maid cafe would be like - whether the vibe would get weird and fetish-y or it would be just a standard maid cafe experience except with plus size women. I’m glad it was overall a good experience and Jimmy, plus size ladies don’t bite unless you ask for it 😉

The only cafe with food that looks like it's made in a kitchen, buying the maids a bite was really sweet. Those kitchen fairies were full of surprises! I'll actually stop here when I eventually visit, seems like a unique experience

I couldn't support the shark fin soup. Fishermen cut their fins off, and throw the live body back in the ocean, and it sinks to the dark, cold, crushing bottom. It's too cruel for me to support.
I'm glad someone mentioned it. What makes it even worse is that Jimmy was right: shark fin doesn't taste of anything. All they could taste was the sauce. So people kill sharks for no reason other than "tradition", and in such a brutal way.
Obese doesn't just mean "extremely fat," it's a certain BMI and they do look medically obese. It doesn't mean these maids are not cute and sweet, because they absolutely are! But if you think this is regular size it's because you're just accustomed to seeing literal clinically obese people around you all the time 🤷♀ (I mean, I am used to it too, but it's not supposed to be "regular" lol)

Yes obesity is common but there really is a difference between someone who is 200 lbs and carries their weight well and people that are 300+ lbs. but both of these people are still most likely considered obese. This was cute!! I heard about this cafe a bit ago and have always been curious so thanks for going to their cafe! I like that they weren't super over the top 😊 It feels like a good and calmer intro to maid cafes in general before you hop into the crazier ones! I'd be a blue uniform maid myself 👀 Though I'm 5 lbs under the biggest maid. I've gone down 20-30 lbs under before by exercise and a structured diet but it made me lose a lot of hair and felt weak because I wasn't getting enough for what my body needed. So now I happily weigh what I weigh with small and natural 2-3 lb up and down fluctuations. Edit: The weight loss above wasn't all at once btw! It was over the course of a long period so I wasn't doing anything risky 😂 My mom also made me get lipo which helped but it was the most torturous healing time afterwards.

You have to give it to the Japanese for VARIETY in amusement. I actually adore all the little themed restaurants. They are certainly not shy to experiment ith new ideas. See they DO make clothing in larger sizes. And; lots of guys like to watch women crush...things, like fruit. A few of my friends might enjoy this more than they realize. A combined love of anime and crushing could go a very long way here. The food looks....decent, okay. There is more going on here than food, certainly. I love the FUN! Some restaurants I remember for food, others because of how good a time I had while I was there. Both are good memories.
