Its true I've been in a few open conversations with other drivers that have all agreed. Over time truckers adapt to talking to themselves. Its part of the lifestyle.

Becca, I can tell you first hand. I drove tractor trailers for 40 years before loosing my right leg. But I have had more conversations with myself than with other people. Lol and as for singing probably a lot of that to. And heck I can't sing. But I guess it's what we do as road drivers. It's a lifestyle that not everyone can do. Just be safe out there.
I seen a driver out here with a two missing legs. He has hand controls to drive. Find a company who will accommodate, don’t let your disability hold you back.

When you ate breakfast at Johnson’s Conner you were just a couple of miles south of my Rt. 14 Mulberry Street exit in Fort Collins. Hope the ride to Montana was snow free. You should buy some beach tongs. TA sells them! Wear those in the shower so you don't end up with fungi or bacteria, courtesy of strangers.

Don’t get nervous I got my A when I lived in Baltimore and had to go to DC a lot. Use sidewalks poke your truck out in traffic people will get out of your way. You have to be careful but aggressive in DC and New York. You’ll get used to it. Drive safe ✌️

As a new truck driver my very first load was from Denver to Billings Montana for double drop load for two Kmarts... I pulled into a Flying J truck stops and it was full... across the street a brand new truck wash is where I ended up parking.
Nice man truck stop parking is overrated. If you take the time to find isolated areas to park in industrial areas or something is a godsend. Everytime I go to a loves I'm parked between 2 peterbuilts who gotta run there AC all gd night. The worst

I have driven I-10 from one end to the other, I have driven 1-80 from one end to the other, the coastal road in California, the coastal road in Florida, there is so much beautiful USA country to see, we are all so lucky.

My company usually dead heads me back into Nebraska from Denver. We are based out of Milford, NB so the boss has quite few shippers on contracts. Last time though, they got me a rock load out of Colorado Quarries in Canaon City, Colorado. On a tube load now from Columbus, NE going to Baker City, Oregon.

Hmm ... sounds like a "Button Hook" bummer turn if I've ever had to call it! Sometimes you just gotta stop, get out and take a "for real" look at your options, then just make it happen. I had one job that it took me at least a dozen back n' forth efforts - got it in ... then the next damn truck they decided to remove the fence like i suggested in the first place.

I was stationed at Glasgow AFB in Montana. They had two seasons winter and July 4th. The area was so flat that you could go AWOL and they could still see you after 3 days. I was also told their was a girl behind every tree, lol
I can’t wait to get back to trucking. I had my left eye retina de attach had surgery but can’t see yet. Dr says I’ll have a cataract and will need surgery again. Sucks !!!!!

Just a FYI, if you get in a jam of tight turn to leave a place, if you can slide your 5th wheel up even a foot (12" inches) that will make difference.You might want to find out how far you can slide to the max without hitting the trk frame rails.
