I had the same problem, but fortunately didn't loose my key. Get some two part epoxy putty and reinforce the top of the fob so this one doesn't break as well.
If you use Propane for heat or cooking, it to will add condensation to your interior. Most full-time RV’ers buy pillows that snap in place over skylight, or pressure fit same to prevent condensation build-up on lexan, plexus etc, vent covers/skylights. Perhaps on 6th build you will either use Webasto or Chinese diesel heater, dry heat, no vapor. Or Dickinson or Newport solid fuel heater -$400 us. Dry heat in moist environment like BC is good, propane heat is more moisture, keep a window cracked to vent.Amazing the things learned with 3x6’ skylight cut into log cabin roof on ocean. Newport heats 25-30 foot boat.
I had a similar key setup in my 05 ford fusion, you can get a key without the unlock features etc. for about $100 from the dealer including programming.
Last time I needed a key was eight years ago for a 96 Mustang with a chip but no remote. Sixty-two US dollars. Today for a fancy key probably hundreds. When I ran a new key through the washer on my 14 Mustang I gave it to my daughter and took her unused key instead of paying for a new one-when she did get her license she complained the key didn’t work more than six feet away from the car, but what was she complaining about? She had the best car in school.
Always entertaining videos. Thanks so much for all you do for our community
Thanks for your kind words. ☺
Another skylight. Splendid!
You are going to have a great view of our impending gloomy winter!
Can you tell I’m not excited for winter?
Yes , I can tell. Maybe some "gas station" coffee will lift your spirits? 🤓

Put a layer of Lexon on the inside to seal it from inside make it double pain window
Might condensate between the two?
@@Torin_by_the_Ocean probably, but it might be fun to see what starts growing in there.
Um... nope! ☺
Stay warm my friend!
Being very careful not to spray the Tesla with rust inducing metal filings from your roof cutting 😀
👍 good job
👍
Clever
Rather odd doing such major work in a home center parking lot.
As for key buy a better quality $10-20 Carabiner, your key is approx $500 Canadian👎.
It broke off the key ring not the carabiner.
7/11 coffee better and cheaper
