Thank you so much for this. I just installed the TSDZ8 kit from Varstrom with the Bluetooth display. Your video was very helpful! I put the kit on a early 2000s Giant Warp DS2. I'm still waiting for battery delivery. Cheers.
Long battery cable. There are many on, or off-frame locations where users may have the battery placement that is optimal for them. In some jurisdictions where more stealth (or less unsprung weight) is desired, riders carry the battery in a small pack on their back and route the cable through the water bladder hole on the pack. For them, even the long cable may not be long enough. Seems like one solution would be have an XT connector right at the motor, and offer battery connect harnesses of different length so the rider can curate his desired battery carry location and have a more appropriate matching cable length.
Thank you for the video. I am interest because of torques sensor. That was what was missing on Banfang BBS02 or HD. I use TSDZ2's and love them but becasue I like the natural feel but TSDZ8 looks better in many ways
Thanks for the video! I'd also like to see some display compatibility testing. Please record a proper ride outside, especially on steep hill. TSDZ8 may seem less powerful due to torque sensor so it doesn't give full power on such short distance. Only under certain conditions like uphill it will give full 750W.
Funny how your battery cable was too long...i received mine today and the battery cable was tiny. There was an xt60 plug on the motor and a small xt60 fly lead to connect to battery. Probably would've worked if my battery was on down tube but mine is on the back rack so it wouldn't reach. Had to put a join in and extend cable. I upgraded from a tsdz2b and the difference was well worth it.
Gear/Shift sensor fells your change your rear gear and in the moment stops your motor for a half second during your chain change a gear. This needs to avoid extra power while your are changing gear and to prevent fast gear and chain damaging.
Thanks for your opinion, We really appreciate this! Some of ours workers that tested this motors feels very good about it. For me personally it is a very good competitor for BBs motors. Have a nice ride 😉
I am testing the Bafang M435 and like many other torque sensing motors, it has some overrun. for clean and fast shifting, you need a shift sensor, which you can plug into the brake switch port. A dedicated tunable shift sensor would be better though.
it's amazing, I have installed the batterie under the frame, I saw no one doing the same think, you're the first. In a XS frame, full suspension, there isn't enough place. I have deflated the fork, and down it to the minimum, kept some marge with the batterie. The frame already have 2 holes with with screw thread. One was at the right place, but I had to drill a hole for the 2nd screw.
Pozdrawiamy Ekipa Accolmile! :)
Merhaba, üç tekerli bisikletime tongsheng 750 w 48 volt kit taktırsam yokuşlarda çıkabilirmiyim, arka sepette iki çocuk taşıyacağım, tongsheng mi, bafang mı tercih etmeliyim, hangisi daha iyi?
I often slightly push the pedals with one leg and brake at the same time while waiting for a green light. So... so it is a thing where it is a good thing to have brake sensors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
from both of your videos about this motor I understood that its not worth to buy only becouse of torque sensor .I will stay on legendary bbs02 .thank you
Hi, would you like more details and comparison details? I'm thinking of making a comparison video as I just bought a TSDZ8 and am planning to compare it to my BBS02B.
@@AccolmileGroup of course wuold be nice to see propper ride..full speed and hill climb. how is a chain line. as i understood its TSDZ8 is noisier than BBS02?
@@blackmilkmusic3123 Hi, since I haven't tested it yet, I think I'd be pretty irresponsible if I answered you now based on what other review videos have said. But I will definitely do a noise test, in fact I have used many different types of motors such as BAFANG, Bosch and tongsheng and I am very interested in this! I have already purchased it and it is still on its way to be sent to my house, expect in 2 weeks I tell you my answer, I will try to be as professional as possible in order to answer your question more accurately, hopefully it will help you.:)

I got one of these recently and am currently mounting it on a two wheel recumbent bike (HP Velotechnik Speedmachine). So far very straightforward.
Can we put smaller chainwheel like 32t 34t 36t....this 44t is just not a MTB friendly ...Thanks for the video !

Hello sir, thanks for the suggestion, I am going to make a video which will contain what you want, it will be done in about 3 weeks, see you then!
how does the gear sensor work? how does it know what speed you in ?

Can it be used under rain? How is water resistance?
Yes I drive it in Netherlands
No problem with rain. A lot of people us in the rain. But is assemble quality is bad and water reach controller e-biker will have controller problem.
Thank you for the video. What is the yellow cable coming from the motor? You said Gear/Shaft sensor, what does it mean?! Thank you again.

is it possible to install the 36T front star on the TSDZ8?
Look at the video. Answer is obviously no

Are Bafang display compatibility with this motor?
No, they are not compatible, tongsheng has its own protocol.
No
Its priced extremely affordably, really if you buy one and don't like its not a huge loss.
Please tell me, is the adapter for BSD 130, bsd104 star suitable for tongsheng TSDZ8?
There's one available by that EU bike company in Poland.
👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻
