Mitsubishi Montero Gen3 - Stuck Glovebox Lock Repair

A notorious failure point, if your glovebox latch is stuck and won't open it can sometimes be opened by drilling through the very center to expose the key hole. You can then try using your key or a flat head screwdriver and if that doesn't work, you can just drill through the entire lock mechanism to get it open and then a new replacement part can be installed.
This works for either the top or bottom glovebox latch.
