Great to know that James is a Maryhill man, Summerston to be exact….home of Partick Thistle…..I remember watching the famous/infamous Maurice Johnston banging in goals for Thistle at Firhill before he made it into the big time…..not many players played for Glasgow’s big three clubs!!!!
Yes Christopher. My maternal grandmother’s family are from Donegal stock, coming over to Hamilton, then following the pit work to Fife. The McGuire and Mournian families are all related and made that journey with many others. My gran was a McGuire.
@ACelticStateOfMind Small world Paul John my gran comes from Ballybofey she came to Hamilton as a 16year old in the early 50s she lived down in the auld town then moved to Blantyre when she met my papa. I've got 4 mates with the surname Mcguire. Have you any relations still in Hamilton
I like this guy’s material and I’ve seen him at the games but…… ..it’s too much hassle to call a ‘Rangers’ game a Glasgow Derby but respecting the 2000 pronouns nowadays is fine?
Superb enlightening podcast PJ thank you 😊
