Smaller shows like this are always better. You are more connected to the band on a more personal level. I'd take a show like this over a stadium or arena show any day.
@@YanniDep Yes this! I always hate when my favorite bands end up graduating to arenas. I'm poor so the $100 ticket to sit at the top, vs the $25 ticket to stand 50 ft away. And the atmosphere is often incredible.

I've been listening to Relient K since 2000. It's amazing how their songs continue to find and speak me where I'm at in my life, time and time again. Thank you RK!
bare foot playing a keyboard to pop punk wirh curly long hair, I could be watching something corporate. never heard of them? search I woke up in a car. love relient k!!
Thank you so much for posting this! I was front row, just right of center wearing the Red Sox hat! Matty T gave me a high five at the beginning of the show! Definitely one of the best shows I have ever been to!
Damn I’m really bummed they didn’t play the second half of “Maintain Consciousness”. Amazing show tho, thanks so much for uploading. I decided not to see them on this tour way back then so I’m glad I can experience it now. Teared up a couple times lol.
Idc who you are, if you’re in the building that night, like staff, and ppl who didn’t know them, Who I Am Hates Who I’ve Been became your fav song by Relient K off of the crowds clear vocals alone! I remember hearing Sadie Hawkins Dance and Pressing On years ago, in High School, and loved them since! Id say, . I decided to look them up randomly rn haha came across this, and listen... They’re legit! I wish they did Chapstick tho 😩 lol good stuff
+ItsCryss that's happened to me before. Sucks. Really sounds like you couldn't see the whole time though usually I don't get pushed until around the end
Oh my goodness, I'm seeing them tomorrow, I hope they play all these songs tomorrow too! I thought it was only going to be songs from the Mmhmm album, but this is even better!!! I can't freaken wait!!
I went to the one in Grand Rapids. but I watched the Detroit one live online, it wasn't as good as mine! Cause Matt was sick at the Detroit one D: So they cut it short. And at the one I went to, he stage dived! But people were on their phones and dropped him!
ha ha this is even better than the livestream from Detroit. I really wish I could've made it to the date they had for San Diego on this tour :( But they're releasing a new album soon and they said they would go on tour for that so hopefully they come back :D
Does anyone know if there are any live shows of Relient K where they actually do the background screaming on the vocals, like for I so hate consequences or life after death and taxes? Thanks
+fouried96 I don't think so. I wish. My band is going to do a cover of I so hate consequences though so if we do a live vid with screaming I'll let you know :D
Okay fellow fans. I need some help: I've loved Relient K for years and Mmhmm is by far my favorite record they ever put out. I love the album cover but I have never been able to figure out why they chose that flower. Anyone have any insight?
Jordan Maney the album is a sun flower. Real sun flowers turn to face whatever direction the sun is coming from. It's saying that even on a cloudy day he is choosing to face the son/sun
Matt T is one of the most underrated songwriters
Definitely!!!!!
He’s my cousin 😌
@@lilythefrogking9943 tell him people want another tour!!
@@TheLusaso 😂😂
@@lilythefrogking9943 after covid settles down obviously! 😁
They deserve much bigger crowd than this
+Bob Black I'm pretty sure the whole tour sold out.
Bob Black I was at this show (The lead singer Matt Thiessen gives me a high 5 at the beginning) and it was sold out.

Guess what ! They just announced a tour 😁
I would be with those dudes in the front headbanging \m/
I hope they do this for the anniversary of Forget and Not Slow Down. I'd be there in a heartbeat.
Agreed
Unfortunately they didn’t
Damn! I was at this show! PLEASE tour after this COVID-19 bullsh*t is over - WE NEED MORE RELIENT K!
I've been listening to Relient K since 2000. It's amazing how their songs continue to find and speak me where I'm at in my life, time and time again. Thank you RK!
My goodness this makes me feel old. I keep thinking MMHMM is their "new" album, and now it's over 10 years old.
Now it’s 6 years later..still feel new?
It’s their classic album now, along with Forget
bare foot playing a keyboard to pop punk wirh curly long hair, I could be watching something corporate. never heard of them? search I woke up in a car. love relient k!!
First album I ever bought! Still listening!
samandrew2 Mmhmm is definitely the best album to ever exist.
Saw their original mhmmm tour... still kicking myself for missing the 10 year tour!
One of my all time favorite bands. Like their old sound better than last 2 albums, but still amazing band.
I came only for one song and I ended up watching the whole video...
+Victor what song?
+MCPgaming I So Hate Consequences... :)
Victor Amazing song

Wow I went to this show in Pomona. I have chills all over my body listening to this. BEST concert i've ever been to.
I go to BU and walk past the Paradise every day. I wish they would come play this venue again, I'd see them in a heartbeat.

ive been searching for a live set with this song JUST to hear that part they claimed no one could possibly listen to... RIP! xD
The more times I watch this the more disappointed I am in not being at the anniversary~ You're a champ for uploading this!
Probably my favorite concert ever was this tour. Can't believe it's been 7 years already since I saw this tour. Was absolutely incredible.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for posting this - you are a legend!
Dude. Search Relient K full concert at Cornerstone '06 - I was at that show!
Tim Smal for sure!

I was at this show and it was amazing. Thanks for posting was just hoping to find a couple live clips didn't think I'd find the whole thing.

Haha I was there but couldn't see them cuz I'm short and people were rude and would push me so they could see lol
That always stinks, hope you still had fun though.

Thanks for uploading this. Got me through some sleepless nights, hehe
thank you for posting this!! love it
i love reliant k
Drummer was on point tonight. My man put'n work.
These are hard songs to play live for real
Still remember when I saw them open for MxPx back in 2005...
Oh my goodness, I'm seeing them tomorrow, I hope they play all these songs tomorrow too! I thought it was only going to be songs from the Mmhmm album, but this is even better!!! I can't freaken wait!!
did you go to the St. Andrews Hall performance too? it was awesome!
I went to the one in Grand Rapids. but I watched the Detroit one live online, it wasn't as good as mine! Cause Matt was sick at the Detroit one D: So they cut it short. And at the one I went to, he stage dived! But people were on their phones and dropped him!
kaitlynm56 oh no about the stage dive! but thats great ya got to see them!
+kaitlynm56 lol that's so funny. Goes to show that people should put away their phones and just enjoy the show. Did he get hurt real bad?
+Daniel Flores No he didn't get hurt at all. There was enough people not on their phones to let him down gently
ha ha this is even better than the livestream from Detroit. I really wish I could've made it to the date they had for San Diego on this tour :( But they're releasing a new album soon and they said they would go on tour for that so hopefully they come back :D

I love how he modernized the song at 16:56 hahaha
Does anyone know if there are any live shows of Relient K where they actually do the background screaming on the vocals, like for I so hate consequences or life after death and taxes? Thanks
+fouried96 I don't think so. I wish.
My band is going to do a cover of I so hate consequences though so if we do a live vid with screaming I'll let you know :D
Daniel Fourie the screaming parts of those songs weren't done by any members of Relient K.
Jared do you know who did them? They're really good screams
Daniel Flores David Bunton (of The Showdown) and Kevin Kiehn (formerly of The Wedding) did the screams on the record.
Thanks dude! Got some new bands to check out now
this is rude, but why Matt T doesn't use any shoes or sneaker at all ? why barely foot?
anyway nice perform ever ! lov ya guys
+Jake Schafer yo, they were saying the questions rude, not the fact matt doesnt wear shoes it rude:)
Uno de mis sueños es poder conocerlos :( mi banda favorita

Ha Matt T is still strumming with his thumb, the Pressing On music video he strums with his thumb...
I've never seen him use a pick lol
+brdlystvll I believe it's his personal preference not to use a pick, he said he likes looking like a kid when he plays lol
Ben Barlow was hella feeling it.
high of 75 sounds so much like NOFX until he starts singing lol
#blessed haha 16:51
The Dave Mustaine of Pop punk
This is brian pittman on the bass?
can u put the setlist of the concert please?
Done bro, I'll add the actual times in when I get a chance.
Dave Mustain singing
He’s gotta have a major thumb callous always playing guitar like that with no pick.
i would be the only one there moshing ..
I dont like when crowds sing along.. I don't think I'd survive a Relient K show.
Who's on bass?
+Mohmega Trey Bogeful(?) something like that,he played drums when Ethan left
+Mohmega Tom Breyfogle. He filled in on drums when Ethan left. He used to drum for Secondhand Serenade.
He’s gotta have a major thumb m callous always playing guitar like that with no pick.
The crowds singing sound like an old mans fart.😝
Salty Yummy Taco truly inspiring words
The show in Columbus was the best performance I have ever witnessed.
