Nice neat job lads , I have a few small hedges I do but nothing on that scale , after a couple of hours with those petrol hedge cutters your arms ache a bit ! 😂
Nice video. I did my laurel today - 30 May. It’s about 15m long and 2m high, depth of 1m. I do it every year at the end of May and end of Sept. Cutting is only half the job - the worst part is the raking and tidying up. Quite a pile! Looks great and is a good screener all year round.
Thanks for the video. Most hedge trimming videos don't mention how these trimmers work on big laurel like this. I've used a chainsaw for the past couple years, but it's getting heavy and swinging it around and over my head on a ladder just doesn't seem like a good idea, but it's sure nice to be cable to cut thru any part of the hedge. So, this year I'm just planning on cutting back the past year's growth and I plan on renting exactly what you're using. Looking forward to safe cutting.

I live in SoCal and the only birdsong I hear is, alas, crows cawing.
i suppose everyone takes all that wood to the dump , one of the best free firewoods that is stove size ready , no splitting necessary..very high BTU rating
