I much prefer florescent tubes less troublesome and the lighting is more natural, I've had a couple led tube lights and the light they produce is odd, both mine started having the odd led go dim or go out after a few months so the light wasn't even, the old florescent tubes used to last year's before the blew.
All my florescent lights have long outlasted leds by years. The leds kind of gives light which does not spread properly, for lack of better words. Florescent light spreads evenly, I think leds are inferior and they produce more e-waste.

Sir u should explain as 10 hrs of daily usage + cost coverage up if replaced by led (i have replaced my whole to leds and i started seeing 100-200 rupees reduction in light bills, if i use it for 12 months itll save me 1200+ rupees.) Keeping my old ones as spare.(didnt throw it. Also old tube light fits in slot of fluoresent tube holder).
The type of technology your light uses has nothing to do with if it's good or bad for your eyes 🤦♂️ Just make sure it lights everything evenly and your surroundings are bright enough and don't stare at the fucking light.
LED is never comfortable for study and eye. It cannot be. Scientifically. They are extremely extremely harmful. The amount of money you will save throughout your whole life, ten times of that will go in a single eye operation. The damage is irreversible.

The disadvantages of led bulbs & tubes is that their driver circuit can fail anytime with a blast or maximum after 3 years of normal use & we have to either throw away the entire thing or if possible we have to repair the driver circuit

Today I bought cfl bulb for study purpose... In led bulb there is invisible flickering which can be seen by capturing slow motion video... In cfl bulb there is no invisible flickeeing issue ..

If you purchase the right brand it will last long. My Crompton Slim Ray, Crompton Light Linea have lasted long infact I'm still using it.
