I've been advocating for the outlawing of lobbying for years. THAT is one of the top 5 worst things for this country. Lobbying effects everything about our daily lives. It's not right!
Boeing is the problem they have implemented the very same tacticthat gave us the 737 MAX over their whole company. Instead of testing all systems physically they test all systems one by one in digital simulations. So you dont get the stress of everything working together. Frankly i believe that the Starliner needs to be completly re-engineered from the base up.

NO Do we get any respect form anyone that the lights are turned on or you can sit there and read this on a computer designed by engineers, powered by engineers with software written by engineers? I agree with the 2nd part, but Soyuz has had several issues over the last few years as well. One could not return to earth and the crew were rescued with a second Soyuz. A soyuz had a malfunction just last year which almost pushed the ISS out of its desires or it.
Safety for the astronauts is of paramount concern to every countries. It is an occupational hazard to be an astronaut. NASA should stop making excuses for Starliner deep seated problem and start preparing a mission to bring the astronaut home.
Shuttle covered in ice? Go for launch! Wing damaged by foam? Go for re entry! (They did not even inform the crew). New super duper capsule is haywire? No, everything is fine!
