      We had an x9 on demo for one of the big farmers in our area this harvest, straight cutting canola, he runs 11 s790's currently, he's always been JD as long as I remember...thinking as soon as he can he will have a full fleet of x9's...wish there was a Fendt presence in the area I've always been curious about the Ideal...mainly for serviceability/maintenance...Mike sure had his fair share of issues this harvest...especially just getting going

      Not an expert on combines by any means but from what Zach said, it sounds like if Deere fixes the power issue and the leaves piling up on the feeder house, then the x9 is going to be a miracle machine. From what he said the x9 is impeccable at processing the corn and having an extremely clean sample while not loosing almost any kernels out the back.

    • @MrTysonjharris
      @MrTysonjharris 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      John Deere isn't an innovative company. They're a mega corporation with deep pockets due to their direct access to the M1 Money supply and politicians in Washington D.C.. Deere abuses the government system and tax payer by the way they get involved with the US farm bill, FCC broadband communications rights and even anti-trust mergers. John Deere goes about offering below market financing rates through their internal bank, John Deere Financial, in order to buy market share. They then use that market share to eliminate domestic and foreign competition. Then when innovators pass them up with new technology they buy out that company which has them keeping R&D costs down in the long run. Think about it. Who had the first 4 track machine? - CNH, Who has the largest grain drill? - Bourgault, Who has the most powerful Combine? -Claas, Who makes the most powerful Chopper? - Krone. Who has the best tillage? - Lemken. I think about the only area that John Deere truly led the market was with the Exactemerge Planter and possibly Auto Guidance. At the end of the day John Deere is a monopoly. They worked the D.C. circuit hard to break the back of the Unions in order to hold down wages. They channel funds towards marketing and mergers. Now that they've squashed the competition, they're quietly going about consolidating their dealer network into fewer and fewer dealer owner groups in order to eliminate in-run competition between the Deere dealers. Sadly, with so few competing AG dealers, John Deere's only competition is between their own dealers. Consolidation through the John Deere DOT 2.0 strategy is now allowing Deere to raise prices on farmers which is fueling profits today. The net effect? John Deere is all to happy to finance you into an attractive 5 year lease with below market interest rates while making it up on the back end with subscription fees and the most expensive labor and parts in the market. There is nothing worse than an ignorant farmer who goes about touting how nothing runs like a Deere and you'd be stupid to buy anything unless it has green paint on it.

      Because the Fendt IDEAL 10t is still cheaper than the John Deere X9 1100. The most relevant is to compare machines in the same price range.
      If anything the comparison is unfair to the Fendt as it's cheaper than the John Deere.

    One big difference is the Deere is just a work horse and the Fendt is always being worked on. It’s to the point of needing a extra machine as a backup. Never been a concern with John Deere

      as far as i’m concerned the new x9 is a joke they classify it as a class 11 and the ideal 9 is bigger then it😂 the 10t will walk the x9 all field long all you’ll see is the dust when you guys are rebuilding the engine😂

    63% of all combines sold are JD. Service is nearly as important as the machine itself. JD service is horrible....but this is true of virtually every brand on the market. Pick your (very expensive) poison.

      Those are just fictive laboratory numbers. To compare real numbers between brands you need to test in identical conditions (same field at the same time),

    • @Matt___B
      @Matt___B 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ITubeTooInc those are also wrong numbers.
      the 9t is the 85 T/h combine.
      fendt technically didnt say the specific harvest capacity other then saying the 10 is 20% higher capacity then the 9. so actually the 10t is 100 - 110 T/h not 85
      but either way, you are totally right, only field test will prove it.
      just like the JD X9 its a "100 t/h combine" yet if you use JD OWN FREAKING numbers that they provided from a field they've done you ONLY get 63 t/h, its all marketing, thats all it is

  • @ashtonrosen559
    @ashtonrosen559 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Deere all the way much less moving parts = less things to break plus the John deer services are much better honestly though these two combines are only practical for farms that have high yield and over 15,000 acres if not it would be a horrible investment and take a very long time to pay itself off
