- The X9 combine is one of the most productive machines in the history of farming. It s not about massive power. It s about efficient design. Perfectly balanced grain handling from field to tank. Low energy threshing, separating and cleaning systems.

what am I doing with my life im supposed to be doing homework and yet I'm watching an ad for a combine, I don't even live on a farm. I low key wanna buy an combine now. Wish all adverts where like this, actually making you wanna buy the product.
That JD X9 is $1mill. So start saving up.

I retired in may from New Holland in grand island Nebraska. Worked for them for 30 years, we built the best combines out their IMHO. Worked on the combine mainline and finish line.
hell no haha. thats clean BS that new holland better lol
Better for the grain farmer, not the Rancher baling straw. Your new Hollands took every shred of grain out of the straw:(. Looks like the new Deeres are going to do the same 😔 🐮
The absolute best 👍👍
@@TheJrcattlethats what walker combines are for. Thats a ranchers best friend to keep straw long
I'd say lexion is best with aps hybrid system but nh for no grain damage but the don't feed like a lexion.
Clear and nice ovverview video of applied technologies in these John Deere X9 combine series👍
this is the first time ive ever seen animation of how a combine works. amazing how much engineering goes into them but i see a lot of points for failure and costly repair. definitely not something for the average person.
thats why a lot of folks dont actually own or rent a combine and rely on contractors to come and harvest for them
The company also doesn’t allow you to repair your own machine
Jhon Deere is most expensive equipment manufacturer.
@@raviniranjan5707 they also don’t allow you to maintain it yourself, everything has a computer code that if the individual code doesn’t match up the tractor won’t run at all.
@@f1rehawk99 yes, I know. and there have been massive protests and lawsuits against them for this. Right to repair movement is real.
I remember back when John Deere dissed the rotor combine and said they would never build one LOL. It looks like just now, John Deere has finally caught up with New Holland and the twin rotor design LOL.
They bagged out IHC then 20 years later they copied it to the letter .Now they've copied NH .
Only took 40 years🤦♂️
I purchased my first twin rotor harvester in 1978 and have been operating them ever since the machines and cabins and controls have progressed in leaps and bounds all brands have had to keep up or miss out It is an indisputable fact the NH gives the best sample in all crops JD are a very well made product and are very good to operate The fuel economy of a JD is up until now is not as good as other brands I wouldn't swap a NH though after operating them since 1978
I feel for the computer that had to render 3:49
NewHolland CR с 1975 года выпускают такое МСУ. Джон как всегда дождался окончания патента, и теперь приподносит это как свою уникальную разработку.
Superb animation 👏👏👏👏 truelly informative video. Thank you for uploading this video.
The only technology Deere has ever brought to the table with their combined has by far been the massager option in the seat
They never even did that...
Wonderful!
So THAT its how that thing works
Always been a mistery to me
I now know a lot more about these machines, impressive illustration of how they work, my daily goal of learnong 3 new things every day just needs 2 more things and they'll prob come thru youtube. My late mother always pushed learning 3 new things daily, even if it was something simple like day to day stuff.
The day you stop learning is the day you start dying. Don't stop at 3. I read books and study all sorts of subjects until I turn off the lights to go to bed.
Great video and Demonstration
Masters of imitation never innovation, good job JD.
Even if totally wrong in the comment, through John deere even imitation is done better than any rival. Have you any idea what John deere spend on research?
Sorry, you're wrong. International Harvester had the original rotor patent and JD criticized the idea. After the patent expired JD copied the idea.
@@oliver69cork46 about $16.85

I think we are talking this century.
Farm simulator brought me here as if im going to consider purchasing one in real life lol. Still cool to see how they work!
It's a CRIME this fabulous combine cannot extinguish its own hot spots, before they become fires, and burn this mechanical marvel to the ground, and its blood will be on your hands!!!
All colours burn
This is just like my dad's thresh machine 😊
Looks like a twin rotor New Holland.
.
Versatile in Canada had a similar design in pull type combine. Cylinder in front of two rotors. 1980’s
That video vas amazing, first 5 seconds I was thinking it is real.
I know nothing about farming, but holy cow so complicated might as well add a flour mill and oven in there.
Awesome video
Never lived on a farm in my life or farmed in my life but I need one of those things
I love how we still have the Basic meganisem going
So didnt newholland start the twin rotor and also the small compact European style of motor as well only 30-40yrs later you start to copy them
Exactly... that would be 1975, In 1976 I was 12 when my father and grandfather bought a new TR70....
Why does it matter? If JD does it better?
thank you 👍
Incrível. Grande abraço Brasil

Amazing.. Greatest technology
Thanks New Holland for introducing it in 1975
Me with my 40 acres of woods watching this like I need one of these things
Nice, Does it come with "right to repair" ?
I don't have a farm but I feel like I need to buy one. ;)
how many years of development till we got machines like this
Can this m/c made in compact because Indian farmers have not got large land scape in Maharashtra so this m/c Can be used by small farmer
Great machine
Very good, but done before :)
już kiedyś pisałem przy ciągnikach class o taki test w realnych polowych warunkach a teraz piszę tutaj czy John Deere jest na taki test tej super technologii gotowy ?
I remember back when John Deere said IH rotaries we’re not in any way better, conventional was the way to go. Rotary separation was hard on grain, had no more capacity, blah blah blah.
And now they copying Case New Holland. John deere is always playing catchup.
Yep.. same way there 2 track tractor was the greatest...😂
Yes they said they would never have a rotary. They are king at marketing and they have a lot of crazies that lap up the green coolade
Which is a direct copy of the Cat Challenger.
Is this just a Cr 9090 with a macdon fd75 painted green 10 years too late?
Nope its not because they still can't thresh with just rotors they need an extra drum behind
I don't like John Deere, but that was a pretty educational and interesting advert.
is there a combine with a baler at the back? save me time baling after harvesting...
Remember going to one of those open houses at John Deere years ago. They told all us farmers they would never build a rotary combine! That was in the spring. That fall they introduced their axial stole’s claiming they hadn’t copied them, they had perfected them.
Humorous! Now they are claiming the same thing with their version of the twin rotary. My hat is off to them though! Who else has built such a loyal following that no matter what they say there customers just eat it up. The other manufacturers must get green with envy, or just the reflection off the Deere equipment built following their copied designs. My dad always claimed JD didn’t hire engineers, they hired lawyers!
they literaly said the s series was better because of the single roter, i liked them growing up because that was what my familly had but i'm leaning more and more to calling claas my favorate
Almost exact same as New Holland machine. Apparently no self leveling shoe though, still bet a CR would out cut it though. Rotor design is very similar to CR Twin Pitch, so does discharge beater and finger separator grates. Looks like Macdon design for header as well.
Yes
Gotta love new hollands twin rotor
Everybody eventually copies everyone nimrod.
Well the John Deere four track front wheel assist must be so bad that nobody wants to copy it
Well also there’s deeres regular qaudtrac and they copied that from cnh so it’s not everybody it’s just deere
Wow... twin rotor...

I remember back in the 70s, 80s, 90s, Deere said that the twin rotors that New Holland had, was not as good. Yet, here we are.🤣🤣
Hasn't new Holland had twin rotor for years now.
40+ to be exact
And I thought new holland said no other brand can use it case ih is the owners of new holland and they can’t even have twin rotors
@@daledid6303 Case IH doesn’t own New Holland. Technically New Holland bought Case, but it was more of a merger to make one large conglomerate that shares 80% of parts and technology to reduce overall cost.

Before everybody jumps on me for being stupid can you tell me how they drive so acurate they plant perfectly strait rows and harvest within 4-6 inches of the last plant in the row. I have a John Deere 75hp tractor but I use it to cut hay since I'm a rancher not a farmer. I have a hard time not leaving strips of uncut grass because I sway away while not paying attention.
Rtk GPS systems use correction data from a static GPS receiver. This is what gives them cm accuracy. It's really interesting and I can't wait to automate my tractors. It's actually possible to install on any tractor for about £1000 with open source software
AgOpenGPS, Reach RS+ a couople Arduino boards and you'd be doing the same thing.
@@self.improved AgOpenGPS is exactly what im talking about. My only obstacle has been finding a cheap way to acheive rtk correction

Of course not, it's the apple of agriculture
chevron didn't go as planned ?
Ah yes, this superb machine is the perfect equipment for harvesting my imaginary field on my imaginary farm property.
เจ๋ง
You know the funny thing is that everything created in a computer is 100% perfect. Zero lost and zero problems. Lets see it in real life with hills and uneven ground and still get 100% perfect harverst.
From what I've seen it's actually more like 97% perfect
It is super efficient
It's 100% efficient at costing $20,000 to $50,000 per year in service calls and pre harvest maintenance at the shop. Deere sells a million dollar combine with more bells and whistles than a jumbo jet and then makes another million from the farmer in repairs and overpriced parts. And it's obsolete in 20 years.
If Anyone truly wants a twin rotor combine and actually wants to be able to afford it without selling their soul, they'll buy a New Holland.
And add to that being able to perform repairs?
Haha just kidding. I have no idea if new Holland let's their customers perform repairs
@@damnfk063 new holland does let their customers preform repairs. But the again, I almost never have major break downs on my NH tractors that would need me to make a service call lol
How much?
Glad john deere invented the twin rotor xombine except I remember seeing a yellow combine made in the 80s that was twin rotor back in the 80s called a tr 70
I believe New Holland introduced Twin rotor combines in 1975. Usually takes that one company about 35 years to catch up in know how.

It's literally a new Holland combine. Took John Deere a while to get to the twin rotor game
