So, I saw it several times now, why do bands not use amps anymore? What are they using instead, computers? It is so annoying, the last times I saw bands playing like that live, the guitars sounded so weak and inaudible. All the bigger metalcore bands do it like that now.
Phil B. Amp Sims like Axe fx, Kemper, Helix, etc. It sound phenomenal live, might just be phone quality that might sound weak. Makes more economical sense to travel with rack unit amps going direct than with heads, cabs, and 20 some stomp boxes when you can get the same if not very similar tone from something that takes up 2 rack units
