The original 22 loader for the 440 /430 had hydraulic pump in the front run off a shaft from the engine. You could turn over the engine by putting the shaft in. There is a manual for the loader and a parts book.
Poor 430,,,, I had some things like that on the 33. you're bringing back memories. Every nut, bolt, cotter pin, clevis, was a battle. I wonder how much it would cost to have the pressure plate hot tanked. Looks like the shop manual is about $50, nice work guys! Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, joys of old tractors that sat forever and then some.... Im not sure, I wire-wheeled it, very pitted up. Yep, Id like to find one with PTO Diagrams and break downs lol
@Mark Mertz This is a pretty bare bones rig. No outlets (besides the power beyond for the loader), no pto but it does have a 3pt. We wanted to get a pto unit for it but its easiest to swap rear ends for pto and the 8 speed shuttle (what this one is) is the hardest/most desirable rear end.

You made a 1000 👍🏻✌️👋🇺🇸🥶. Oil n diesel fuel and a wire brush does wonders lol
Yep! Made 1000! Yep, I wire-wheeled stuff. pretty pitted up, but it should work for testing purposes.

You guys have to get out the Heat Wrench ! If you don’t have Oxy Acet get a mapp gas propane torch .
And put antisieze on everything !
We heated and heated and heated a lot of stuff on this. We couldn't get the steering shaft off to save our lives though. Thanks for watching!
Why would you do that to that yoke when you can pull the yoke off at the front of the tractor it slides off like a PTO just pull a bolt out
We tried and tried and tried that but it would not slide off. Couldn't even get it after we got the other yoke out
