The reason why Kenjaku used Uzumaki immediately on Miwa was actually because he extracted Mahito’s technique; if you’ll notice, Curse Manipulation users don’t get Cursed Techniques, they get CURSES. However, Kenjaku was explaining just before he ate Mahito that Uzumaki allows the extraction of the techniques of sufficiently powerful curses. Hope that clarified it bc I think not many people got that from the translation lol

Technically speaking, if Mahoraga fought Jogo first and adapted and then fought Sukuna, Sukuna would have lost. If Mahoraga is able to adapt to that strong attack (ex: fire) before its used it wont do anything. If Mahoraga fought Kashimo and adapted to electricity and Plasma as a whole then Kashimo would not be able to defeat Mahoraga even if he used a one-shot attack.
Adding to this, a tamed mahoraga would truly be terrifying because you could give it a sample of the opponent's technique to adapt to.
Exactly. The only issue with the Jogo scenario is that after mahoraga disappears and reappears his adaptation resets. However, with a tamed mahoraga, this weakness disappears.

Adaptation depends on the complexity of the technique and how often mahirag is exposed to it which is why he adpated to sukuna's technique quickly as it was simple just cutting but it took it longer to adapt to gojo cuz its like space manipulation. which is more complex.

Malevolent shrine was open and mahoraga was constantly healing but fire arrow took him out

Considering Mahoraga had no clue what Sukuna could do, no clue how strong he was, and as they pointed out just the Anime made it seem like Sukuna was struggling in the video. First thing in that fight Sukuna could've gained distance and just used Malevolent Shrine to one shot him before he even knew what his CT was. Fire arrow was just a smart idea of how to kill him quick, not a last resort. And Sukuna had to be careful to not accidently hit Megumi or Haruta with his CT and kill them. Once again not trying to be a nerd, just pointing something out

That is not the essence of the ten shadows technique, it is supposed to be a technique for summoning allies (those who say that the powers would go to Megumi have no imagination)
If I have to bet, since the technique has spiritualist and necromancy elements, I believe that the maximum technique of the ten shadows must be about resurrection, since this way the technique would become sustainable and Megumi would never lose the shikigami even if they are destroyed (a worthy prize for someone who has mastered the entire technique)
The reason mahoraga's adapting is inconsistent is because he adapts slower to moves or attacks that have more complexity like infinity. While sukuna's slashes are relatively simple.

Mahoraga IS overpowered, as a weapon. As a character he’s very mid compared to the current cast.
The Shikigami die if killed in battle after they were tamed/controlled. Megumi had 2 dogs. 1 dog died and its power tranfered to the other dog, creating the divine dog totality. When one of them dies, the 10shadows user can ue their ability "totality" to "add" the power of the shikigami that just died. Same way Sukuna was able to merge all of those shikigami into Agito. So I assume if Mahoraga were to die, then his strengh and/or ability to adapt would transfer over to another shikigami and so forth. But when they are dead they are dead for good. Sukuna figured out he can make the shadows less stable when he is creating the dogs, limmiting their range but making sure they cant die since they are still shadows and not physical
What about the flying toads tho? That was a combination of toad and Nue (the ones that Megumi used against Todo)
JJK will always receive the bad judgment just by lack of statement from Gege, Mahoraga isn't OP, why don't you read the manga first before saying it's not powerful, Mahoraga doesn't take time to adapt only with complexe technique like Gojo technique... Mahoraga is channeling positive energy that's why he is healing faster like curse spirits, in the manga with Sukuna he reach phase one of adaptation to deflect the slashes in a couple of seconds, and if you compare the animation to the manga, the animators were really smart because they put other adaptation in Mahoraga's way to avoid a phase 2 of adaptation against Sukuna (which could have been intangibility or a skin more tougher than the slashes)... Against Gojo he did the phase 2 when he sends the slash..,Mahoraga is OP because if you cannot one shot him, you will loose, its simple, you take your time in the fight you will die, when I'm talk about time it's about couple of minutes, Mahoraga only receive one attack of 3 dismantle from Sukuna to deflect the 4th one, read the manga to understand the monstrosity and divine aspect behind this power....the winners (Sukuna, Gojo, Yuta for his versatility and his curse energy discharge, Yuki because she could have used the mass to a extreme point into her shikigami to force a black hole and also here domain expansion, Kenjaku instead of Geto because of antigravity that he can use first to surprise Mahoraga after with a maximum Uzumaki, Yuji when he reach his prime with more control and output because to be honest the shrine surely possess other techniques unsaid, also Yuji posssess different aspects of blood techniques, Maki can be on this list also, she is a beast, she can cut Mahoraga but don't know if he can heal his soul, it's a gamble).
Sukuna's requirements to shoot fuga at max power is for him to have his domain open, if not its slower and weaker. With the malevolent shrine the arrows range is the size of domain, which we all know is open.
Its less Mahoraga has a really strong healing and more his healing gets exponentially better the more he adapts to something specific.

Imma list everyone in my opinion on who even has the abilities to kill mahoraga. Not can, who has an ability ABLE to. Gojo with purple, sukuna with fire arrow/ MS, yuki with her black hole, yorozu with perfect sphere, and possibly geto with max izumaki. Now we can mention those who have potential to defeat mahoraga. By that meaning the ability or adaptability to land enough strikes to put him down. Yuta has one of the most unique techniques in the series, but on top of that, perfect against mahoraga. It was stated because of how complicated infinity is, that is why mahoraga needed more ticks to fully adapt to the technique. Sukuna’s cleave and dismantle are a simple slash. So the first adaptation is enough. We also learned from Sukuna that mahoraga doesn’t stop adapting to the same ability. He will continue to adapt and find others ways around your technique. That is why he was able to walk through malevolent shrine during shibuya even though it basically vaporized him. Thats also how sukuna learned the world cutting slash from mahoraga. He had to wait for an adaptation that he could pull off. With yuta having the ability to copy almost any physical ability in theory gives him a strong edge to be able to put down mahoraga. Yes certain conditions need to be met and does that mean he would? No. It just means he could. Same thing applies to kashimo. We saw the discharge from his cursed energy trait carry enough energy to basically disintegrate a weakened sukuna. We also saw it multiple times basically kill hakari like 4 times over. Within the right conditions, if he uses his 1 time ability. He could get it done. Once again would he? most likely not. His ability similar to sukuna, is very simple to adapt to. So with that I give yuta a higher likelihood of being able. That is my sum up if anyone disagrees or would like to add feel free. I excluded the special grade curses like mahito, jogo etc etc but honestly between them all jogo is probably the only one able to kill mahoraga. Even he would be in the maybe category with yuta and kashimo.

the way the wheel works is the more complicated the technique the more turns it takes and the longer those turns i think it was like 3 minutes for infinity and sukuna had to have megumi holed the wheel for that time

I think you guys are also forgetting that the Mahoraga who fought Gojo is stronger then the one who fought Sukuna because when A shinigami gets tamed, the owner ingests their cursed energy into the shinigami making it stronger. But if you are talking about untamed Raga then you are fine.

The anime adaptation is the more correct version of mahoraga vs Sakuna Gege and the anime staff have gon on record multiple times they try extra hard to show the true power of these characters that’s hard to show in a manga.
The problem with people like kashimo, Ryu, and even Yuta is they have big attacks but none of them are strong enough to completely destroy him in one attack. Even Yuki she got her punch blocked by kenjaku so there is no way she’s one shotting mahoraga with a single punch.
They could win if they used a domain possibly but they don’t start with there domain so he’s gonna adapt to there ability like he did with sakuna and then just survive there domain.
Kenjaku and getos uzamakis are strong yeah but they aren’t nuking the battle field like sakunas fire arrow or hollow purple.
But yeah when a shadow dies it’s GONE forever when white died it was gone forever but the fallen shikigamis powers get added to the others so it became totality.
All the shikigami that gojo killed are dead but they can be fused into the shadows that remain like divine dog totality the frogs and rabbit escape.

Im not gone lie....at first in the manga it seemed like he was unstoppable
Tbh I feel like Mahoroga got nerfed during the fight with Gojo just so the fight could go on longer and so Gojo could inflict some real lasting damage to Sukuna because during the fight with Sukuna it almost instantly adapts to cleave and dismantle after 1-2 hits. Gojo used red and blue so many times against Sukuna when he had the wheel on him and when Mahoroga was fully manifested yet it took so many spins. Also if you think about it what sense does it make that a previous 6 eyes user fought a previous 10 shadows user and they both died so it ended in a draw. We know Sukuna is the only 10 shadows user in history to tame Mahoroga so that means the previous user did not use a tamed Mahoroga in the fight and so we can assume the previous 10s used it as a last resort/suicide like how Megumi used it in Shibuya and that Mahoroga was the one to kill both the 6 eyes/limitless used and the 10 shadows. So my point is how in the hell the 6 eyes and limitless user managed to die and not one shot Mahoroga if they had the same technique as Gojo. Now you could say Gojo is stronger/ more skilled than the previous user but the gap cannot be that big as it's clearly shown had Sukuna only had and only used 10s he would have lost without the world cutting slash. The only reasonable explanation I can think of is Mahorogas adaptation was nerfed by Gege to prolong the fight and give Gojo a chance to weaken Sukuna. Gojos whole statement of Megumi being able to rival him had he mastered 10 shadows seems like such bs as Sukuna the most skilled 10 s user and only one to tame Mahoroga could not win had he relied only on 10s
The previous six eyes user may not have even been able to use purple/red, or even as effectively as Gojo is. Also, they may not have known about Mahoraga’s adaptation and not one-shotted it like Gojo did, because literally nobody knew exactly how Mahoraga worked, especially non-Zenins. It should be heavily noted that Gojo is a prodigy, even outside of having Six Eyes+Limitless, and perhaps that means his output and raw cursed energy amount are greater than the previous user, making it easier to do more damage.

Maho is a tough mismatch for yuki. He would adapt to her imaginary mass easily taking away all attack options.
Maho can only adapt to one thing at a time. That’s why sukuna was able to kill him. Kashimo might have a chance only if he has knowledge of that condition & if amber is even strong enough to one shot. He’d be dead either way tbh.
Yuta has the highest chance but that’s bc of his CT but again that would depend on if he even has a technique that can one shot while Maho is adapting to another

This is a fact: ALL beings made of cursed energy (shikigami, curses) are one shot by Mahoraga and the sword of extermination, so neither Rika nor the disaster curses would have a chance against him (except for Sukuna if he had the body of a cursed spirit, but only because he has the world cutting slash)

This is one thing I disagree with. Mahoraga's sword is clutch against curses, but he has to hit them. I don't think Rika or a very strong curse is useless against Mahoraga.

In the manga he just opened his domain, meaning he couldn’t 1 shot him without it
I won't go into detail about the science behind it, but essentially, the reason sukuna opened his domain was for setup to the fire arrow. The domain slashes left "Gunpowder" everywhere, which was then detonated by the fire arrow. This is why the arrow used against maho was so much larger than the one used against jogo.
Sukuna said he wanted to kill all humans there. Domain expansion was just convenient for that goal, I think.

Mahoraga survived a black flash from gojo 2 times, granted he had almost finished adapting to blue but that doesn't change anything. A black flash increases ones punch by x^2.5 way WAY more amplified than a blue amplified punch. Gojo's punches can literally make Yuta puke, he even admits this are you saying Yuta is bellow jogo now?
If a red is enough to one shot mahoraga, where does that put Yuta at...? A infused blue is enough to make him puke a red should pretty much vaporise him.

megumi's shadows are destroyed when they die and cannot be re-summoned in their base form, after they die they can be fused into a different shikigami of the user's choice. the black divine dog was killed in the incomplete innate domain of the finger bearer that almost killed yuji in like ep 2-3. the misconception that the shikigami can be resummoned is that megumi releases the technique just before death, saving them and allowing them to regenerate in his shadows.

The domain part is valid. But if Gojo bring out hollow purple st the start of the fight it should hypothetically be able to 1 shot maho, assuming he doesn't miss
@@BrandonLung it would, but he would miss, at least a larger hollow purple like the one that he used on hanami would miss, he could maybe land a toji sized one but that wouldn’t kill mahoraga, and only reason mahoraga was killed by hollow nuke is that he was sent to destroy the purple right before it blew up
@browhatfrthatscrazybrobruh6991 Mahoraga adapted to UV after a couple of times being exposed to it. He can't just adapt to a complex technique instantly, Gojo has really good chances of beating Maho since his technique has at least 4 offensive applications.
if it was fresh 1v1 Gojo v Maho, it's over instantly, since gojo knows just about everything about Maho's technique and can oneshot him with either a purple, red, maybe amplified blue, or UV, or combinations of those
if Sukuna didn't use Megumi's soul to allow maho to safely adapt, UV would've completely stunned Maho and maybe even completely fried it's brain before it could adapt to survive
also Maho isn't all that fast, he's gettin hit by at the least one of those, especially if Gojo starts with an UV
