I stumbled across your podcasts in Apple , then your website and online shop .. thank you so much your content is excellent for me in Biomedical science IBMS , I am in my final year
Great tips, thank you so much! My revision so far has been very disorganised and mostly passive (eg making notes, watching videos) and I'm looking forward to trying out your active testing sandwich approach!!
Brilliant, thanks so much Tom. Just bought the cards and can't wait to get started with this method. Am feeling re-inspired to crack on with my study when I was struggling!
Hey Tom, Thank you for all that you do for us medical students. Just wanted to ask, is it okay to use short answer questions from for example PasTest for the first part of the sandwich?
Yeah for sure! The testing sandwich is not a hard and fast rule, just a suggested method for fitting testing around your study sessions. You can use whatever testing method works for you. Also, it is always worth using something that is more readily available, rather than spending lots of time creating your own notes. So if you can immediately start learning by using PasTest, it is better just to get started with learning rather than spending hours making your own questions, only to run out of time before you actually get to use them.
Would it be helpful to release the tracking table? Ok. My next video is on tracking and I'll get a tracking table sorted and uploaded somewhere you can download it 👍
Your time and effort in helping us medical students are eternally appreciated, thank you so much Tom!
You're welcome, glad to help
