Rouge one is my favorite film (tied with ROTS) so this was an absolute blast to watch. The blaster effects where stunning and overall really smooth. The battle was very well paced and the At-At viewpoints where awesome! Great Job JimJamFilms :)

Excellent work! So many good small details like the helmet wobbles when characters turn, the gun barrels animating and switching to the damaged trooper helmet when they got hit at 1:01. It was truly inspired, great job!

This is the best lego stop motion scarif film I’ve ever seen it was amazing you really made it look like the rebels had no way out but then you handed them winning beautifuly I’m very impressed with this I love the part when the walker shoots at the rebels and you can see it from inside the walker and I love when the gunner shot out of the U wing and hit the walkers leg great video 👍
Haha thanks, I actually ordered a bunch of pieces of brown/tan tiles but it was the wrong color which was beach tan and so I was like…let’s do a scarif stopmotion lol

Alright dude, this is very very good! I really like what you've done here. Coming from a Stopmotion animator myself, I am impressed. The use of actual physical Lego pieces for blaster bolts/impacts is really cool, I choose that method myself. Some of the cinematography at times is great (The Death Troopers and AT-AT coming in are examples), and that combined really well with the pacing - that's what I love most about this video. The pacing is snappy and fast, and you don't find that level of high intensity/speed in most Lego Brickfilms. The use of lights to illuminate blaster bolts and detonators (their lights) are also great details. Allow me to give some feedback, if you don't mind: Lighting is really nice at times, but I'd add a couple more lights to illuminate the battlefield - sometimes the scenes are slightly darker and the photos look grainier. Zooming in for better cinematography is good in theory, but by doing that you sacrifice resolution, and that can be very apparent at times. I'd try to avoid that as much as possible. Audio - the choices for sound design are really good, but just in general the quality is not that great. If you find sound effects on TH-cam that you want to use, go to yt1s.com/en61/youtube-to-mp3 to download the videos and keep as much sound quality as possible. And I'd also recommend going and downloading the Star Wars Ultimate Collection Sound Pack - that is probably the most definitive collection of Star Wars sounds you'll find, and a lot of them could help you out. Music - not that it's bad, but in case you aren't aware, I'd HIGHLY recommend going to Star Wars Battlefront 2015 for music - not only is it very good, but it's also perfect for these brickfilms, with great action songs and more somber, slower ones for when the pacing slows down - I can't recommend checking out its' soundtrack enough, especially if you feel like you're running out of options using soundtracks from the Star Wars movies or something. Don't get me wrong though, I still thoroughly love this video. You've got some potential, and I wish you the best of luck with future films. Good job!

So when I’m adding sound after a while when the video gets long it takes forever to add sound it freezes. Is there a way you get around that or do you just suffer through it
I’m not sure what app you’re using but for my suggestion use iMovie or InShot (personally I think InShot is better for sound) and is that’s not the case try to limit the amount of sound you’re using
