That was a great watch. Better than 95% of what you see on TV. It was like you took us along but wouldn't give us a detector. Fantastic job! Space your face.
Not many videos on TH-cam over an hour long will I watch but this is defiantly one of them! Always great to preserve an adventure by recording your trip and sharing with others. Thanks!
AWW the friendship is so heartwarming, what a wonderful video! I saw a fireball once and have dreamt of searching for anything that might have landed, you all just took me one step closer :D thank you
It's GREAT to See ya back on TH-cam... Awesome Video...!!! Congrats on your First & Successful Meteorite Hunts... AND... BEST Of LUCK in your continued Celestial Fishin...!!!
I'm so glad you posted meteorite hunters for free. I had been looking forward to it ever Since I saw the preview. great finds! I saw your street tear out video a while ago and it inspired me to become a detectorist, especially because you're in Idaho which is right by us here in washington. Ever since I saw you find that Ihp in the cement I have wanted to find one, and I just found my first one about a week ago- 1899! thanks for posting another video. sorry so many people were sending you hate mail. good luck, and keep posting videos!
Sweet video guys, my wife already yells at me for staring at the ground to much when we are out and about, and now I have something else to be looking for great job, great video really enjoyed it.
I want to get into meteorites! This video makes me feel I could become obsessive with this hobby. Still saving for my first detector but I'm sooo interested in it all.
I haven't watched it yet, and will set aside some time to do so this week. Just wanted to thank you Brandon for the hard work you put into this adventure and sharing it with us.
I've been looking forward to this video and am happy to say that I was not disappointed. Fantastic production! I also like how you've incorporated the drone shots into your other videos. The panoramic views really add to the story lines. Keep it up! (Tommy G)
Finally had some time to enjoy this one. I can neither confirm nor deny if I'm at work... Excellent Job Fellas! Very fascinating look into a different kind of treasure hunting that is overlooked. Definitely will make me look at my hot rocks a bit differently. Great work putting this together. Still laughing at the turkey fist bump.
I just started my channel and watching your awesome adventures, the format you chose and how you editted them... Makes me realize just how much we have to learn and how much further we have to go to turn out the quality production and entertaining vids like you do! Great work bro!
Thanks for the awesome compliment! It's very time consuming (and expensive) to produce quality videos. It's worth it though! It will set your channel apart from the rest of the crowd!
WOW!!! Excellent video guys! Amazing finds! Good on you Brandon for taking the time to edit this hour long video!!! The drone shots were great as well... I recently bought a Phantom 4 and have some nice location shots coming up in my next video. Jacob.
My name is Elizabeth, this was my husband's blog. He passed away 31st August 2015 three days before his 83rd Birthday. I just want to say that I think I have a meteorite. It belonged to my husbands grandfather who was a gamekeeper and gardener for a big house in the woods in the UK. This meteorite fell from the sky approximately 2 to 3 feet in front of him in the garden. This one is as big as your fist, black with white veins. It would be nice to know if it is a real one.
thank you great show! I found your channel a week ago can't stop watching. I love adventures and history but I've never been metal detecting but I'm already looking to get one because of you guys. thanks again!!!!
I saw a meteor hit the ground back in 96. It was about the size of a big rig cab. A lot of sand dunes in the region, & I'm guessing perhaps that's the reason it didnt create much havoc. It caught my attention initially, like most "falling stars", because of its streaming tail, but the air pressure slowed it down enough that it no longer produced the tail. It was bright glowing red hot, that quickly cooled to a dull glow just before hitting. There was a lot of dust/dirt thrown up, & the show was over. I was on my way to work, & running a bit late, so i couldnt stop to check it out. Besides, it was still dark, just before sunrise. I wanted to check it out, but worked overtime that day, & the next, & the next. I forgot all about it for over a month, but by then, I couldnt find any sign. That brutal New Mexico wind! My thinking is, it cant be too deep. Sand bags stop bullets. Might be worth a better look someday, idk
Thanks so much for releasing this! Been wanting to watch it for a while - hope you guys made a few $ off of it or it leads to bigger & better things for you guys :)
about 2 years ago I think I seen a meteorite hit the side of a house while I was outside drinking coffee early in the morning. At first I thought someone shot a stone with a slingshot but nobody sticks, desert and sky was there. It had to come from the sky. It bounced off the wall then a deck and landed in some gravel and blended in. I'm bringing a magnet and a metal detector when I go back.
Brandon, I've narrowed my choice to the Fisher F75 or the Minelab SDC 2300 which Geoff Notkin likes for hunting meteorites. But does the Minelab go deeper than the Fisher and how would the Minelab be for hunting those Mercury dimes at the park? Thanks....
Well now, that is one fine video and well worth a donation Doc. I can see a 10 spot headed your way once I figure out that system. I'll bet meeting Geoff was a thrill. I've been eying that outing he provides since they came out. Maybe one after the first of the year I'll be out there. Congrats on a well done video.
Hot dang! You where hunting in my back yard practically. I grew up down there and started Relic hunting there. And when you said 1867 site oh mama the entire time I was like is that my spot? lol I was super excited and now I wanna go home and dig some Civil War relics. Nice video fellas.
Awesome video!! Did you know that one of the biggest iron meteorites, weighing 260 lbs was found in the Oakley Basin in southern ID. It resides in the Smithsonian currently.
I quit my good paying job 2-1/2 yrs ago to take up meteorite hunting in Kansas City & went broke (wow-what-a-idiot) BUT got my job back AND now im finding around 3 specimens PER-WEEK(what-the-hell) yep they are very old solid iron & love this upload many thanks
Great vid guys. Am also here in Tucson currently but heading out sadly in a couple of weeks to the big sand box. Have to hit that meteorite museum here. Will look forward to other great vids from ya. Would be great to also pick up the hobby as am often jeepin' in the high canyons and abandoned sights. Cheers!!
Thanks for this...really fun watch ! When they said at the museum it is illegal to own a piece of the moon....I had to stop and consider .... Uh....who "owns" the moon?. Is it illegal to own a piece of the earth ? How about mars, or pluto. General space debris ?? Think about it....is that sort of nuts???
Excellent video! If your interested in some beach hunting action let me know. I'm in So Cal and I hit the beaches at least 2 or 3 times per week. I'd love to have some company. You guys are the greatest!
I seen a meteorite land three nights ago. There was what looked to be about a 20 to 30 foot long trail of fire following this thing. and I don't mean a regular fire the color of this fire was insane. The most wild thing I've ever seen in my life. Looking for some advice before I go walking through this muddy field looking for this thing. It was pretty big so I imagine when I see it I will know it
I had found a small tear in a grass field with a rock.At the end and it looked like a ball of slag fro glass making but there was no way someone threw it against the ground with that much force I did try with a heavier rock and it only bounced. so please can you tell me what kind it was I gave it to a friend a long time ago and unsure she still has it.
Awesome!!!!! You guys should get a hold of Jerry Calvert from the Kansas Meteorite Society. he has been on Meteorite Men a couple times and has helped find a 1400 lbs meteorite in Kansas. p.s would it be corney if I said I want your guys autograph? i have been watching you guys for a while now and I have yet to watch a video that I didn't like. keep up the great work
A great video Brandon !!! I learn a lot from you. I'll get out to the King Tut mine area and look for some meteorites as well. It's suppose to have a couple strewn fields. In fact I think your new friends from Meteorite Men have been out there too. Thanks !!!
I just would love to ge the chance you did and just pick his brain. such a smart person who knows a lot about space rocks. would love to make a ring from one of those gems some day
Hello, how do you resershe meteorites? Do you have a GPS point where they fall? I am from Algeria so can you halpe me to get gps point of where meteorites fall in algeria if you have ofcourse.
I'm so sorry! I know. And I knew this was going to happen. I just received soon much hate mail and discontent for charging for a video on TH-cam that I took some advice and started a Patreon page. I didn't know that it even existed and it's what I'll be using from now on. Your support means so much and I know you would have pledged for it on Patreon. Thanks again for your support. Your pledge will be put to good use!
I had a feeling you would. On one side I agree that TH-cam shouldn't be a paid medium but on the flip side I don't find it unreasonable to pay $5 to cover some gas and food so you can get out to some of these more remote areas to make a good video. Either way I wish ya the best brother, don't let it get ya down.
Thanks guys for a great adventure, that can shape you found looks to me like a black powder can, with a screw on cap. by the way what gun type did the lead bullet you found belong to. I shoot a lot of black powder guns here in new zealand and I prospect for gold and several times we have found some very heavy rocks never considered that they may of been meteorites also found a rock with the greeny crystals in it. will go back and see if i can find it again. Thanks again for a great video
Olá companheiro. Pois eu tenho um canal no TH-cam: Leon detectorismo e nesta minha pesquisa, eu achei um ferro parecendo com um meteorito. Como faço pra vende-lo? Obrigado!
I have something that I think is a Meteorite which I found on my farm. I do not know hou to properly test it or sell it. Can anyone help? I could send you pictures.

All I can say is thank you,it was worth the wait.
I want to get into meteorites! This video makes me feel I could become obsessive with this hobby. Still saving for my first detector but I'm sooo interested in it all.
Just buy them. Much cheaper.
Touching Soil is a better feeling than touching your valet
@JP JP 💩🥔👎🤦
A stick and a magnet! All you need!
That was an exceptional video. Film-fest worthy. Subscribed. And Geoff, as always, rocks!
Thanks!
I haven't watched it yet, and will set aside some time to do so this week. Just wanted to thank you Brandon for the hard work you put into this adventure and sharing it with us.
Absolutely wonderful video. I'm sold! Thank you for sharing.
Been waiting for this.... Fantastic! Many thanks to all involved!
Keep swingin Doc.
Awesome video! I watched the whole thing! Those meteorites tell a huge story of the past! Great job!
I've been looking forward to this video and am happy to say that I was not disappointed. Fantastic production! I also like how you've incorporated the drone shots into your other videos. The panoramic views really add to the story lines. Keep it up! (Tommy G)
What awesome dudes! Thanks for this awesome show guys.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for your support! When you're ready to look for a detector, let me know. Dr.Tones24k@gmail.com
Amazing. Thank you for teaching me what to look for.
Geoff really does have a Stellar Collection !
That was one of the best vids out there! Entertaining, informative just like a mini movie!
LMAO. Swinging the stick like Ray Charles.

Thank you Mr. Tones, I shall watch it when I can. Good luck with your Patreon. ♡
a meteorite is one of my bucket list finds...
I was surprised to see the class using Minelab CTX 3030 detectors because on the tv show Meteorite Men Steve and Geoff mostly used the Fisher F75.
Yup, they've since made the switch to Minelab
Brandon, I've narrowed my choice to the Fisher F75 or the Minelab SDC 2300 which Geoff Notkin likes for hunting meteorites. But does the Minelab go deeper than the Fisher and how would the Minelab be for hunting those Mercury dimes at the park? Thanks....
Great video, loved it. I hope you have more of this series.
(Indiana Jones theme played in my head most the time)
Amazing video, that brought me along to places I never see here in England.
Keep up the good work boys!
All the best

great video! it really reminded me of the mid 90s when i used to detect around Nevada and in the Sierras for treasures as a teen.
Thanks to this video im now a meteorite geek on top of everything else, thanks guys :)
Hot dang! You where hunting in my back yard practically. I grew up down there and started Relic hunting there. And when you said 1867 site oh mama the entire time I was like is that my spot? lol I was super excited and now I wanna go home and dig some Civil War relics. Nice video fellas.

Great video, guys! Can't wait to get out to AZ in December.
such a brilliant video!!
Weird to think in the 16 hour drive to find meteorites, they have been literally driving over hundreds of thousands, if not millions of meteorites.
Absolutely effing excellent!!!!!!!
I think the "metal can" with the round opening on it's side appears to be an older style Military Mine aka Explosive anti-personnel mine.
Excellent video! If your interested in some beach hunting action let me know. I'm in So Cal and I hit the beaches at least 2 or 3 times per week. I'd love to have some company. You guys are the greatest!
You guys crack me up every time. :)
sdpy15 yea me too. they plant stuff then they go oh look what i found

Would love to own one of them better mds. i know them are pricey tho. great video.
