WTF? How can industrial beer be the best? Each of these countries has better beers. In the Czech Republic, Pilsner, even among industrial beers, is not the best.
I think Urquelle and Guiness are the only ones that are actually world class in here in something. Most of the others are mediocre to really bad and do poorly at beer competitions or any blind tasting with any decent beer drinker involved.
I still remember how someone told the tale of how Adolph Busch brought the name from that existing Czechian beer and how much later on a court in UK determined how the Budweiser brand name should be used when Anheuser Busch (when the brewery was still American-owned) tried to sell their brand in UK. It wound up as just "Bud" in UK (and probably most of Europe as well).

Honored because one of our beers is present in this top, but offended because c'mon, there are so many better beers in our country than this one! We're literally a beer-country where beer culture is pretty important. I also tasted a lot of foreign beers and there are obviously extremely good beers in other countries, but by limiting your top to only one per country, you miss de facto the best beers
I like ALL BEERS. I live in England, been drinking beer since I eight years.(now 71yrs) We have had many many breweries, lots of them have been bought out by big companies, including my home town brewery, Mansfield. These buyouts always ruin the brew, hopefully some little brewer will revive these old beers and hit the bigtime again. Love the video. Peace and goodwill

Frankly, I'd rather drink Tecate than Dos Equis. On that note, Corona Familiar is okay but Corona Especial is also strictly por los gringos. I never once saw a Mexican drink it: Sol and even Chihuahua are both far better. Modelo, both the light and the dark, is what should be on this list.

You already know that in Germany it is almost equivalent to a crime if you do not put a German brand in the top 3. Germany has the biggest and most diverse types of beer in the world. And no, Weizenbier is not the most popular German beer. And no, Becks is not the beer with the highest turnover either. It is Krombacher who sell twice as much, namely Pils. Pilsener is the most popular variety in Germany. And over 1,500 breweries with over 7,000 different beer brands and a purity law can't lie: If the Germans understand anything, it's beer!

He got in a bit of trouble for drunkenly stumbling off with one of those special mugs they serve the beer in, but gave it back when told and they sent him on his way.

I like Samuel Adams lager. It's not too strong, but not too bland. It's great for my particular palette.
Pilsner Urqell is like iPhone of Beer Market :D
My goto beers are Michelob Ultra, Miller Lite, Guiness Draught Stout, and Asahi Dry Beer.
What about Tennents? Scotland’s biggest lager, love the stuff. It’s piss water but it’s OUR pisswater
Well because it’s piss water mijo & you can keep it. Wait, 😳are you drinking this piss water right now?
WatchMojo: "What beer do you drink on a fun night out?"
Me: "Bro, I don't drink to have fun; I drink to forget about my depression."
😵😆🤣🍻
MY favorite beer as of now is Hoegaarden I love the taste and the head on it when you pour it into a glass.
Cheers for St. Patty's Day !!!!!🍻🍻☘️☘️☘️🍀☘️
Paddy's Day. No such thing as Patty's Day🙄
In all fairness: those are all quite heavily processed blends with loads of shortcutting to meet the demand. Best tipp all over the world, ask the locals which beer to have. It won’t be one of those.
Indian love Kingfisher i love it❤
Where's San Miguel Beer?
Labākais alus Piebalgas 🍻 🇱🇻
🍺
For every Dos Equis drinker you see in Mexico or the U.S. and probably around the world you will see 20 Corona drinkers. In Mexico Tecate Light beer is giving Corona a run for it's money.
Tecate is a big favorite of mine also
I'm sorry as a Mexican I can say and many agree with me that Corona is one of the worst Mexican beers. Bohemia, Leon Negra, Modelo, Victoria are waaaaaaay waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better, imo. Dos Equis is good too, tecate is OK.
Love that Guinness is no. 1 😊
as a dutch man i can say Heineken is shit. Hertog Jan is the best dutch beer.
was looking for this comment :D H.J. >>>> Heineken
I would agree with you. I always thought Heineken would taste delicious, because it is the sponsor of Champions League. But, after I tasted it, I don't like it because it is bitter.
Funny how stella is seen as a luxerious brand while here in Belgium its like the standard beer (comparable to Budlight)
As a filipino,, none of those will beat redhorse beer from san miguel beer corp😊
I tasted that beer decades ago in Angeles City, and it wasn't bad, great memories.
Pilsner Urquell is my favorite
The only watch mojo list I've seen that is impossible to ever be correct regardless of the order.
drinking a red stripe right now as i watch this so... for me red stripe.great beer for me.
Carlsberg is definetly not the most popular beer in Denmark, that would be Tuborg.
Thats some good Øl right there
KEO "Proudly brewed on the island of Cyprus“ 🇨🇾 🍺
I’m from the UK and I’ve never heard of Newcastle brown ale😂

Yes there is.
Tried Hundreds of different beers in my life, In Canada I mostly drink Micro brewed beers. But love British Isle Beers and Irish Beer. Poland makes some pretty good beers as well. In Africa I loved Lion lager , which was their brand. Tiger Tai beer well it tastes like Canadian beer. In the USA I love Samuel Adams lager. There are so many beers , I thought you could count them.
I can see someone at WatchMojo got really wasted and someone thought about the idea to name the top 20 beers in the world to figure out witch beer the person drink or got drunk off of
Only Lagers and one Stout, the world of flavors, aromas and colors in beers is bigger than that
AAAAAAHHHH I saw this video and my first thought was "pls don't say becks, pls not becks" worst beer ever. Germany has so many good beers and you choose becks. Also most of the other beers are also horrible.
Exactly my thoughts! Beck's is for export and tourists only.
Dos Equis and Sapporo have the best TV ads ever. Maybe Stella too to throw into the mix.
SINGHA is amazing one of my favourite’s, been drinking beer in England for 16 years and I’ve never touched Newcy brown.
Guinness is my go to bevvie it’s absolutely beautiful and really does taste better in Ireland.
GOD BLESS ALE
Guinness FTW!!!
As a german I am very offended
you should be
You learn a lot about a country
by its native beers and how they
are made.
You better take your time then should you ever visit Belgium....
You can taste the quality in both GUINNESS and Heineken beers!!
Asahi Super dry- brewed in Japan
Kirin- brewed in Japan
Chang- Thailand
Below beers burps are different and good feeling
Bierra Morretti- brewed in Italy
Nastro Azzuro- brewed in Italy
Above beers which is brewed outside those countries tastes different.
I wanted to know if Heineken wasn't number one who could have taken that spot
I've managed a liquor store for over 20 years and can honestly say I've never heard of #20-15
You never came to portugal. You are young, still have time. Came and taste super bock. You'll never drink another brand.
Me neither

Where? I think there was only one maybe 2 on the list that I didn’t know and have actually drank myself.

American beers are generally not good compared to others around the world
Agreed. There are a couple good ones though
Great choice on picking Sam Adam's to represent the U.S.
