Thanks so much for this, and for booking our upcoming ABD Japan trip for us! So few travel agents have had the actual ABD experience, and it's been great working with you!
Watching from Alabama! I wanna go on an ABD so bad! Our honeymoon we booked through Cosmos and it was our first ever big trip together, much less international, going to Ireland. It definitely felt like we had some “guard rails” which I was thankful for but now that we’ve been traveling more, we were the youngest people on that trip and most of our group included retired couples or older mom and daughter type situation lol but we still had a great time! I just want to go back and do it differently now that we know what to expect. When we went to Japan for our 5 year anniversary, I planned every single thing myself. It was less of a touristy feel, pretty fully immersed, but at times was overwhelming especially with the language barrier (which we of course tried to study and prepare some for basic interactions.) I want to try ABD for another group trip, but on a smaller scale.
We will be doing ABD Italy in March of next year, after watching your videos we are so excited. The Pros certainly outnumber the cons. What an absolutely great experience
40 people is not a small group tour. I would consider under 20 to be a small group. We a group tour with 44 people in Italy this May with another company. It was fantastic and very similar to yours. It was expensive, but not ABD expensive. I want to do an ABD Disneyland Backstage Magic. Exclusive access.
Every adventure destination is unique in what ABD can accommodate. You would want to work with a Travel Agent or ABD directly to inquire about exactly what accommodations can be made.
Is the pricing on the abd website per person or per room? I feel like you guys mentioned this on the pretrip report podcast, but I can't remember for certain.

What would be considered an appropriate tip for the ABD guides for the Italy trip.
The recommendation is $9-$11 per person per day
Where did you get that tee shirt? One. Large. Cube. Old fashioned
It’s part of our merch. Www.addictedtothemerch.com
Georgia peach watching now 🍑 🏰 😊
What was your video gear on your Abd?
Main camera is my Canon EOS R and also used the Osmo Pocket 3 for some b roll
My 35 yo son is in a wheelchair and has no movement from his chest down. Would he be able to go on a trip like this? Wheelchair accessible?

Per person based on double occupancy
Would you recommend an ABD trip for a single person ?
I think it would be really fun, however, you will pay a higher per person rate for one person since the pricing is based on double occupancy rooms
Is ABD mainly for families with kids or could you go as just adults?
Both, but they have Adult Only adventures I would look at if you wanted to do just adults.
