Super cool, that music sounds awesome! Suggestion idea: You could do a video on the life of a victorian era woman. That would be so fun to watch I think haha. Showing like hairstyles, dresses, chores and stuff like that maybe? Or like victorian era beauty hacks or something like that 🔥💙
One thing to remember is that back then the weather was much cooler than it is now even in the summer so this is normal. Now you look at that and it's like oh my God I'm already burning up just looking at it..
Dear Lord! A 14th century knight in full plate takes less time to Don his armor. Fun video, love the music and the period dress. I’m always amazed we can still craft this 150 years later.
Ignoring the thirsty people .. this outfit is gorgeous and the video is great but I can't imagine the pain women of that era felt I'd the suddenly needed the toilet
Oh please, stop teasing! ;) LOL. My late wife would occasionally complain about wearing a bra, especially on hot days. So being the good husband I was, I'd try and take it off of her and she'd complain about that too. Of course, those were times when we'd be out shopping or eating or at my parents house. By the time we'd get home, if it was still annoying her, she'd slip it off through the arm holes without removing her shirt and take all the fun out of it. Your comment brought back some good memories. I don't know how you women can stand to be strapped in all day, every day, not to mention everything else society dictates as proper etiquette from a good, "decent" woman. Your gender definitely has a more difficult role than men and I'm sure men are probably largely responsible for that.
I can see how modern times have changed for the better. Now it's become more about practicality. The dresses and the designs are attached in one big dress rather than piece and piece.
I thought purple clothes were crazy rare because that color dye was the most difficult and expensive to come by. It's why the color of royalty is purple and why no county chose it for the their flag colors as it would be far to pricey to keep replicating it
By the 1880’s (the era the dress in this video comes from) artificial dyes were widespread. That means that colors like purple were way more accessible and common. A purple like that is way harder to get by natural dyes though. That’s why, like you said, it wasn’t that common before the mid to late 19th century.

@thathandsomedevil0828 Oh, "historical facts", huh? Well, if you actually read up about the history of "hysteria", you'll learn actual historical facts. It's not a real mental illness. It stems from the stupid and inaccurate belief that our uteruses float around our bodies and make us insane. Women also weren't more "hysterical" in the late 19th century, and the fake illness of "hysteria" has nothing to do with clothes, even in it's historical context.
