    Ooh it reminds me of those old mini PCs that got popular in the mid 2010s, but likely this is actually usable and runs faster than a snails pace.

    I really like the concept, but the execution needs to be improved. With lenovo's tiny line there are no cables that need to be attached, the power for the monitor, also powers the computer, and when you insert the computer into the monitor, the USB, DisplayPort, and power all connect.
    I think Dell can easily achive this, if they make a monitor deisgned for the 7070 ultra, or maybe make a line of monitors that have a USB-C port that runs through the mounting hardware, through the stand, and to the computer.
    Now where Dell's solution is far better than lenovo's, is that it works with any dell screen that uses the quick detach mounting hardware, lenovo is lacking here, as i recall they only have like 2/3 models of screens that work with the tiny in this slick cable free way. Everything else requires you buy a VESA mount, clamping mount/bracket to attach to the monitor stand, sit the computer on the desk, or mount it under the desk .

    TechGurl - you did great on most of this. 2 exceptions, the short 1M USB C to Display port is the shortest cable they make for this system. There is a 3M USB-c to display port cable that can be plugged up on the right side of the Ultra 7070 for a second monitor. They also have a USB 3 to Display port for a third monitor. You have 2 USB 3.0 ports on the bottom, which one can be used to plug up the main monitor USB ports, while the second can be used for your Wireless USB transceiver for the wireless keyboard and mouse. Where you plugged up the transceiver on the side is where the second monitor USB ports would be plugged up too. Sorry for critiquing you a bit, you have also done great videos and work. Keep it up. I put these together for clients since they first came out, so my first one was a learning curve too.

    I don't have the mount/stand. Can I use a simple USB C to VGA cable for the monitor?

    Hello - what was the white cord for? I was wondering what goes into that port but I didn’t see what you connected the white cord to. Thanks.

    Can you stream videos to TV (Chromecast/Roku) without causing strain on the fan? How are watching TH-cam videos and 4K content on this machine?

    • @Techgurl

      It works fine for 4k videos. You dont "stream" with this. Its a regular desktop pc. Just small

      techgurl I saw in other videos. You have to buy an adapter. You can also see where it saids SATA 1 on that port on the board

    • @rangergun
      @rangergun 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      techgurl th-cam.com/video/3Yji24APYiQ/w-d-xo.html at 1:50 you can see the adapter. So you can put a regular 2.5 SSD. Which I think go up to 4-6TB now

      techgurl I use Intel NUCs in my client offices. I might start using these but I don’t like that you can’t put a 2280 NVME SSD, like a Samsung 970Pro or Evo. The CPU is also 2 Gens about to be 3 Gens behind what it out now on the NUCs

      For reference, a 2.5" HDD slot is also available. It might not come with the caddy required to use it by default, however.
