Living vicariously through you guys! Spent most of the early 2000’s living in Tahoe. The Tahoe Turkey at Sprouts is the best! As I’m locked down here in Sonoma County it’s great to see a place that is near and dear to my heart ♥️
Love it! I especially loved seeing the snowboards and mountain bikes scattered around cause it made everything feel more real. It's tough finding storage for all the adventure gear!!! Keep it up!

I live a hour from Lake Tahoe, far away enough for me to keep out of the snow, but close enough to go to the snow if you feel like it being in the snow.

I think it was last year that you first announced you were gunna start rock climbing and a year later, you got all the rock climbing lingo and attitudes :) cute to see that development

Make sure you get your housing lined up ahead of time! Lots of Bay area folks moved up during the pandemic. VERY few rentals available. Housing prices shooting up.
@@JustinPBarnett If renting, make sure you go through legit real estate companies. Online rental scams are not uncommon and people (like me) have lost money.

At first I was worried to see this video pop up. I've lived in Tahoe for last 15 years and I grew up here, and many people document life in the mountains to a surface level perspective. Haha. Tahoe isn't the mountains anymore. It's east Sacramento now. Lived here since college graduation in '95 and Tahoe/Truckee has morphed from a great mountain town area into basically a suburb of the Bay Area. Summer 2020 was the most crowded and almost unbearable summer in the last 25 years. Still beautiful and lots to offer (except housing), but this is no longer a mountain town with ski bums and great bars.
@@lisalee2885 Yeah Mammoth is the same. Spent a few summers there commuting from Truckee to run the construction of the village. Knew way back then it was going to get real crowded like Tahoe.

If the gyms were open, maybe 3 times a week. But we have gone to the gym since March and we've been really enjoying being outside for getting exercise 💪 -V
@@codyandvictoria I agree. I miss the gym, but having it closed has made me change things up. I am taking longer local hikes and longer rides on my mountain bike. I am seeing new trails that I have wanted to check out for a long time.

Affordable all depends on how much money you have / make 🤷♂️ so I'm not sure. It's not cheap but not the most expensive either
