Aliya's mental tenacity powers her through despite being not 100% her full potential. Her maturity, slow and steady approach plays a big role in her comeback. I wish her to be in the pink of health so that she could peak come 2020. I would love to see her bring back her inbars and eponymous dismount in UB, a stuck DTY in vault, a solid beam routine and a 4 pass floor exercise with increased difficulty not to mention her classic Russian style :-)
I saw somewhere that she is currently training a Ricna and Fabrichnova on bars and a Double Layout on floor

@@salmabenmoussa9417 I honestly hope for Vika and Ponor to comeback. I'm also excited to watch Memmel's comeback though I'm not a fan of her but the thought of her coming back after a very long time would open the door for other retired gymnasts to have a second thought.

@000111 she said she is not going to bring inbars back... but who knows? After her injury in 2011 she brought back some of her old skills
@000111 Yeah, I don't think there is a way to replace inbars
@@misoginainternalizadaopres7131 at the same time, Sunisa Lee and Nina Derwael don't do inbars and they're among the highest scoring bar workers right now...
@@agneseditsstuff Because they have skills of higher level like the nabieva or pak full, skills that the queen is not capable to do
@@misoginainternalizadaopres7131 Yes that's true, but I still think there are other ways for Mustafina to get those kinds of scores... Super long connections for example, that's something Sunisa and Nina do as well. And someone here said she's been training a Fabrichnova, that would add 0.2 on its own

I don’t like Olly’s commentary (in general). I know he’s only trying to be respectful, but sometimes it’s just too much. Say nothing rather than try to make a silk purse from a sow’s ear (I don’t mean this routine).
She keeps saying that beam in the easiest apparatus, yet I have not see her doing it without a fall since 2016 lol

When she hits, she wins the gold medal, when she doesn't, the mistake keeps getting in her head and the whole routine crumbles.

It usually takes a while after pregnancy and breastfeeding for hormones to get back in balance, so she's probably dropping the extra pregnancy fat she had to carry.
@@Andrew-pf5fj that explains it - I noticed the belly and had the feeling she's actually fat (the upper part of the body)...
It has been 2 years since the birth. She's getting back to normal
