Actually, models are supposed to be confident while looking forwards. Sure, they have to keep a composed face but the girl's face looked so glum and sad. She was frowning and looking down, not looking up to eye level.

People stop talking about these kids. As a model I will tell you that it’s very hard to walk like this and they’re doing better than most people. They are not sad, they’ve been told to do that to go with the backing track. Forget it

I've seen kids younger get every step right better in a dance performance in front of a wider audience. All they have to do is walk with some confidence and pose with a 1-2-3 step.
Leave these kids alone,they have been told to walk like this and not to smile,and they're probably nerves, and for some of them it's the first time doing this,they have do a great job.
their getting paid to do it right. that's like when a surgeon fails to do surgery the proper way and says they tried their best, there are many other kids who can do it right modeling not for everyone. but I'm sure when they grow up they will get better!
