Fun fact: if you’re not at least 170cm even though your catwalk is excellent, your modelling career won’t be bright

I'd say unless you're from a rich a powerful/trendy family, you need to be at least 174 cm, and you' ll still be short for a professional female model.

Ines de La Fressange once went down the runway for Karl Lagerfeld in skis and did a turn with them. But that brings us back to a time when models often had lots of charisma and character and were not just skinny walking coathangers...
