If he's been winning in Europe for years he's been there longer than 3 months. I'm not American, Canadian, or European, but I think the accent he's picking up is cool as.
Great conversation about doping. Ever since reading Tyler Hamilton's book on the topic I've been thinking about a huge overlooked aspect of doping, and that is the rider's employments rights. Tyler said that the one reoccuring theme was that riders started doping on their third year as a pro, when it became clear that their contract and career was on the line. My strong belief is that the way to stop doping is to tackle that factors that lead to it. Among them being rider's rights and the workload of (i.e. amount of races)
You can NEVER stop people whose JOB is to PERFORM from taking PERFOMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS lol. The boost is just TOO BIG to stay natty. The side effects of being natty as a pro are just not worth it for most athletes in big $ sports. Heck you even have blokes posing as chicks to win a parkrun on a saturday.
Luke has been winning since his junior days with Team Swift in NorCal. Look up the Junior Tour of Ireland a few years back and you’ll see him winning stages
Yall ever notice how American riders seem to take on a slight European accent and sentence cadence when interviewed post race? Noticed Kuss doing this during the Vuelta last year but when hes being interviewed back home he speaks much more fluidly
I start taking over my cousins' accents who are from a different part of the country already after a week of vacation with them. Imagine living somewhere surrounded by non native speakers long term. You will pick up their accent uncounciously
Crazy Lamperti about to overhaul his much more illustrious Jrs teammate Quinn Simmons palmares in 2-3 months of racing. I guess it pays to be a sprinter but I was expecting him to be a 4-9th place finisher and definitely not to show this climbing we’ve seen in Oman.
I like it when Luke just came back to the USA from Europe to annihilate everyone at crit nationals or money races where he could showcase his dominance
LR, thanks very much for this interesting and unique (?) coverage. Dunno why, but my Discovery+ didnt buy the rights for this one. Hope that’s not a sign of things to come. 😖. I’m surviving, but only just….RIP GCN+😢
Magnier has come out of nowhere, but his power output is immense! His junior results were nothing to write home about, and his provisional schedule still has U23 Liege on it. SQS need to trust the kids and start them in races like Omloop and Amstel.
Some people are already claiming an American Peter Sagan in the making. Wow! Like he's gonna win three world championships times in a row? and Possess that Green Jersey, like, forever, really?
I know I shouldn't get excited at the prospect of a NEW American sprinter but, I'm excited about the prospect of a NEW American sprinter...
Oh if you ridden against Luke you’d have plenty of excitement. He’s the real deal
Magnier put his watts on Strava. 961W for the last ~45s with an FTP of 390. PCS gives him 70kgs.
26kj W' at the end of a stage, that's pretty fire 🔥
75kg i think
Luke has been winning national championships since he was 10. And he has a good head on his shoulders. Very excited to see what he can do this season.
Lamperti's been in Europe for 3 months and already has an accent
I thought I picked up something.. lmao
he's always sounded like this, even in the JR ranks, he's been winning in EU since he was 15

The American Sagan is here. LFG!
Already creating too much pressure hahaha
A diamond will come
nah he's a versatile sprinter like coquard or pedersen or girmay
None of those guys, maybe bar Pedersen can climb like he does
Forget the Sagan comparison. How about a Kopecky comparison.

Yup, been watching Lamperti since he was 12, we were in the same junior group. He’s going far!
Luke is such a HUGE talent. very excited to see what he does in the smaller classics this year. Hope he gets picked for Tro Bro

The Pillage of the Villages.

happens with anyone who moves to another country lol

at some point im actually gonna buy a couple little black books and go through every piece of content LR has ever put out and write down every name
Not too small, though. Otherwise you can't fit REMCOOOO EEEEEEEEEEEVENOPOEL in it.
Best advert for neon helmets!
Running neon definitely reduces anxiety for anyone who uses that colorway.
the cadence in Lukes voice makes it clear hes lived in europe for a while haha
Luke is already a legend! Insane talent
Syritsa looks like he could bench press half the peloton
Ive been watching for Lamperti for the past few years -- I think he could be a great american sprinter. He seems to have the IT factor

Lamperti with the best teeth in the world tour? blimey !
don't mess with my boy Bardet XD
Excited to see an American sprinter. Luke and Paul make a good pair!
Sounds like 2 Ancient Jews about to marry!

Lamperti's been 2nd 3x this season + one 3rd. I'm hoping for some wins! Seems like Paul Magnier could have gone earlier to give a proper lead out.
Lamperti told him when to go on radio

Trinity Racing - was riding MTB for them......
lamperti is the truth, norcal represent

Paul Magnifier and Luke Lamplighter got it
Where is ewan?
AMERICA MENTION RAHHHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅
Johan Bruyneel also mentioned them in their podcast as well.
So basically, Lamperti is better than all Legion riders.
First comment ever just to celebrate… LUKE LAMPERTI!!!
Perhaps he is the new Lance?
Good thing that stupid merger didn't go through.
poor coqard always there but never wins
Some people are already claiming an American Peter Sagan in the making. Wow! Like he's gonna win three world championships times in a row? and Possess that Green Jersey, like, forever, really?
Is Remco giving them the silent treatment?
Luke showed that American Crit racers can compete on the world stage
nice mop on his head
Rain? What? The? Fcuk?
No video about brak and lazkano👎?
USA needed this guy. We haven't had any WT "spurters" since Fred R and George H
Uhhh Tyler Farrar…
