I really hope all these little clips and insights will be included when this gets its physical release, I've already pre-ordered the steelbook💚🩷💚🩷 As someone who grew up seeing musicals like Hello Dolly, Oliver!, Funny Girl - all movies where the singing and dancing were perfectly integrated into the story - this movie just makes me so so happy. Every time i go it kind of feels like my Mom is there with me so ive actually just seen it for the TENTH time which sounds a bit ott I'm sure but it is a FANTASTIC musical / movie. And so nice to see the full orchestra, i know all this can be done digitally now BUT its not the same. The depth of emotions the score as well as the songs evoke is so powerful. Please keep this in theatres longer, it will not be the same without that immersive experience. Universal I've loved you guys since the 70s and it's greta you are finally getting your flowers 💐🌹💐🌹xo
1st of all, if it was 1 part, it would be 5 hours long. Honestly, part 1 goes by really quickly it doesn't even feel like 2 and a half hours. And it has held enough attention of audiences to make 700 million dollars, and part 2 is the most anticipated film of 2025.
Either you haven't seen it, or you've got a tragically short attention span. Wicked Part 1 whizzes by so fast it scarcely feels like its 161minutes run time. As a fan of the stage musical, I'm thrilled they split the film into two parts because it allows them to flesh out the story and the characters' journeys more. The stage musical, brilliant as it is, does rush through a lot of parts, particularly how Elphaba and Glinda go from enemies to friends. This particular development feels more organic in the film than it does in the stage musical.
Oh I Think The Score For The Sequel Might Be By Danny Elfman, Michael Giacchino, Henry Jackman, John Williams, John Ottman, John Debney, James Horner, David Newman, Randy Newman, Thomas Newman, Randy Edelman, Harry Manfredini, Alexandre Desplat, Ludwig Grandstin, Harry Gregson Williams, Rupert Gregson Williams, Hans Zimmer, Bill Conti Heitor Pereira, Joby Talbot, Andrea Datzman, Christophe Beck, Tom Holkenborg, Bear McCeary, Mick Giacchino, The Newton Brothers, Mark Mothersbaugh, Christopher Drake, Christopher Lennerz, Alen Menken, Alen Silvestri, Joe Rentzetti, Graeme Revell, Cory Lerios, John ’D Andrea, Pino Donaggio, Joseph Loduca, Joseph Bishara, Brian Tyler, Tyler Bates, Marco Beltrami, Ramin Djawadi, James Newton Howard, John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, Daniel Davis, Don Davis, David Arnold, Carmine Coppola, Mark Isham, Joel McNealy, Lee Holdridge, Miles Goodman, Nicolas Pike, David C. Williams, Peter Manning Robinson, Michael Kamen, David Grusin, Dan Romer, A R Rahman, Andrew Lockington, Alex Wurman, Steve Mazzaro, Christopher Benstead, Andrew Scott Bell, David Sardy, Lorne Balfe, Stargate, Tomandandy Or Dominic Lewis Along With Stephen Schwartz
I will never get tired of hearing Ari and Cynthia singing together. Their unison blend sounds heavenly to the ears.
Saaaame
I got chills when they showed the Orchestra playing.

This clip is from the documentary defying gravity : the curtain rises on wicked.
They creep me out 🤢
Its sooo stupid to promote wicked as 2 parts. Its waaayy too long to keep interest .part 1 is almost 3 hours...ariana is starving sad she is sickly
