You Know? I was never asked if i wanted this. A life, a smile on my face, and tear down the drain, and sunny sky, or a friend that walks by. I never asked for anything. I just wondered why, i never asked for a better life, i never asked for a wonderful life. All I ever did was ask, all my life, I never did, all I did was ask.
Trent/ NIN is my go-to listening. He's not the "last great", though. --GOOD-- Music is as perpetual as energy. It never dies. Some "music" is dirty like energy sources and should be done away with (coal/Miley Virus/ Nuclear/ R&B/Country)... Others renew in more pure forms.
Bryan, it's been my experience throughout life that -- no matter the topic of discussion -- there are always a certain percentage of idiots in the room... Usually, at least one-third of the people (e.g. Trump supporters). Thus, 5 downvotes out of nearly 20K views is actually a relatively low idiot ratio. Thank you for not being one of them! :)

No worries. Thanks to Biden & the White House channels getting their ass*s kicked by having so many people down vote the videos of Biden's speeches, thumbs down votes are no longer a thing.
Is trent off key at the end of 'Through?' I could be totally wrong, but he sounds sharp and off key, which isn't like Trent. He knows his way around musical theory and the technicals of music. The only time (no pun intended), I've ever heard him say he has trouble with key, pitch etc is when he performs 'All The Love in the World." He's stated a few times (or maybe just once) that he has trouble finding the correct key on that one.
I'd have to see the sheet music to be sure, but after comparing this to the studio version, it sounds to me like Trent and Robin's voices combine to make those "Through" notes a wee bit sharp. You're a sharp listener! (pun totally intended)
@@beadbop Ah, good call! I’ve always liked what Robin brings vocally. The Way Out is Through is just such a crescendo of T-Rez goosebump galore. Doesn’t get better.
Sreenadh S I don’t play any instruments, so it may be an instrument for all I know, so take this with a grain of salt. I honestly don’t think that is an instrument he is playing. I think it is a 2x4 piece of wood and a file tool.
You understand that a moment is perfect when you can't hear the crowd's voice over the music..
Chills, absolute chills
next level music right here....
Unbelievable performance
James Gargan They always are.❤️😏👍🏻
Favorite… like forever..
Masterful.
Ilan Rubin You Curly-haired Master playing that Cello
This is calm and bad ass. No anger just music. Wow
they're playing the music of the gods
Everyone at the top of their game..perfect.
I cannot love any thing else.
#NIN4EVR
Beautiful and elegant music all the way!
Just Epic!

6:34 Josh holding on for his life right before Robin drops the hammer.
Amazing!!!

Is this from something? It’s beautiful

@@giantfisher Ironic. Trent has won a country music award and has worked with Miley Cyrus.

Thanks. I am familiar with The Social Network soundtrack. Now I need to get The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo!
I am curious why 5 people did not like this. They didn't like these live versions, or don't like NIN in general?

@@beadbop i agree, also imagine being a NiN fan and a dumb trump suporter, the level of cognitive dissonance of some people is crazy

anyone know what rubin plays at the beginning of the way out is through? that goofy lil brick thingy
It's a percussive scraper instrument called a sand block. The one that Ilan Rubin is using looks like it was homemade.
@@beadbop thanks I appreciate that
is that ilan rubin playing *the brick*?
It is indeed Mr. Rubin, so add another brick to Ilan's multi-instrumental wall!
ah the chunky trent era
Someone please tell me how he gets that on the guitar
a lot of Fx

Trent's a little off hear and Robin is A L W A Y S a little sharp
There's an instrument that Ilan Rubin can't play?
Any idea what instrument he is playing at the start of 'The way out is through' '?
