Weight loss looks great! Congrats! 🎉 I actually put an aluminesa box on the rear passenger side door and I have never, despite my many attempts, been able to get that door to close cleanly. The center is a bit down on shutting. Wish I could know exactly how to align it. Great topic. Thx 🙏🏻
Every Amazon promaster I’ve worked on I’ve installed a custom door strap from the place in Michigan forget their name. Tbeh open and close the door 250 times a day so they really wear out those hinges and checks
Great videos as always! Any videos on fixing the 12v outlet on the dash? Also can you create a solution (ie engine nipples) for the tiny drain hoses over the headlight? Thx
Potatoes have everything needed to survive! The Irish back before the famine in some families that’s all they ate 3 times a day. Good luck on the diet!
Would you say if an inline gas filter could be installed on 2018 ProMaster 1500 3.6; concerned with water/ particles in fuel. Yes, has filter in gas tank? Thank you from central TX. Longtime subscriber.
It has a regular sock filter in the tank, but no other filter. This seems crazy to me, yet I have a van with 825k on it zero issues with the fuel pump or injectors or anything like that. I suppose you could add a filter if you really wanted, but I dont think it's necessary. I would also be hesitant to change anything because this is a returnless fuel system - it pulses the fuel pump and that's how it regulates the fuel pressure. It's self bleeding, and other than the drainback valve it's basically bulletproof.
New product idea: A cheapo thermister that is the right calibration for PMs for the outside air temp sensor on the mirror. I ordered a 10k ohm unit from ebay, six bucks. I hope it will be close but not certain. Dealers want north of $500 for the whole mirror. No option for just the sensor. Stupid dealers! I see big bucks for you in this. Could pay for kids college and a home in Aruba.
I spent MONTHS trying to find a direct easy to source substitution for that damn thermister. No luck. What ended up working was to buy the interior temp sensor, which lives behind the heater knobs. It’s available, under $20, and fits inside the mirror housing. Using it requires soldering the two pins or otherwise dicking with connectors, but it isnt too bad. Works well.
We have an obligation to society to release this information. Did you post it on the forum or in a video I may have missed? Any 8th-grade tech nerd can solder, so that certainly should not be a huge problem for most of your fan base. ✊️right to repair!
It's burried on the forum circa 2017 or so, but yes I should make a new video on it. The telltale is the dashed lines where your outside temp digits should be. And when the sensor craps out, it disables the A/C. @@russellmitchell8177
Did you know that refridgerating potatoes or other starchy foods for at least 12 hours after cooking increases the resistant starch dramatically. Which means it passes through you and out. Leaving more room for ice cream. What did the mathematician do when he became constipated? (Hint: Nothing to do with potatoes)
So close... that is not healthy long term. it is probably better than Standard american diet.. and dropping the processed stuff is what is helping you... if you want a healthy diet.... try a carnivore diet... Beef, bacon, butter, and eggs.. and salt.. it is called the BBB&E challenge..
I'm not expert, nor do I really want to be. Did this potato thing twice now. Lost 50lbs the first time and 52 this time. The trick is to avoid salt as well as you can. There's some in the hot sauce, but that's really about it. Generally, I'd be well under 1000calories per day, with almost no salt. I also naturally eat only once a day so that's probably a factor. All I can say is it worked for me, but yeah it's probably terrible long term.
Love these videos thanks Kip
Good luck in all your endeavors, Hope to see a video on your son fixing that Mustang, Thanks again for all your help with my van
Thank you. Very much looking forward to getting his car on the road.
You look good, congrats.
Thanks. Feel better too.

Rear door alignment is on my list of videos to make.
All of our Amazon vans are cracking at the door hinge. There’s a TSB for it. The fix is a weld and a check strap added.
Ultra common problem, and a contributing factor on this van. I need to do a video on that check strap fix.
The new slim look fits you Kip. Buckeyes ladies watch out :)
Thanks!
We are:)

Almost a universal failure point on the van, given enough time.

It's like you read my mind - fixing the cig outlet is on my list of videos to make! Side drains will be further down the road though.
Potatoes? That's what that magician dude did. Cant think of his name. Cheap too!
Penn Gillette. I got the idea from him. It’s silly but it clearly works!
The old potato famine diet. Good job, love ya
Worked for a whole country - why not for me!
Potatoes have everything needed to survive! The Irish back before the famine in some families that’s all they ate 3 times a day. Good luck on the diet!
Diet is over - I lost 52lbs in 90 days. I think I'll eat normal non-potato food for a while now.
Count me in on the cheap new product.
Next few weeks it should be ready.

@@promastersonly1419 Thank you from Texas

Silly, but it works fantastic.

I did not know that. Potatoes are middling for fiber, but I’ve been pooping well these last 3 months.
Answer:
1, he worked it out with a sliderule.
2, he worked it out with pen on paper.
3, used his son's iPhone
@@russellmitchell8177 Close. He worked it out with a pencil.
Congrats on the spud diet.
What's your brand of Hot Sauce?
I go for variety. I’ve got probably 15 different hot sauces and change them mid-potato sometimes. It’s an effective but boring diet, I assure you.
Huh, Potatoes!?
that,s pretty impressive, Kip
Its silly and it shouldnt work, but it does. About 2lbs of potatoes a day. Nothing else but water and coffee.
Congrats on 50lbs loss! You look younger.
I think I looked younger when fatter, but still fatter. Thanks.
