jason hale was great, really the whole original band created a sound that made me love them from the moment my buddy showed me who they were, but if anyone could take jason's place, i'm glad to see it is thomas(great addition/great talent)
i liked chiodos back before the break up and all, but loved TFoT. when i saw them live it blew my fucking mind (they were actually touring with Chiodos, it was like 06'/07' or something). but tfot fell apart towards the end like alot of bands do. personal conflicts/drugs. so it had to end. anyways chiodos has a new album coming out in 2014 and i can't imagine they will waste Thomas' talents on power chords and simple hammer ons from songs that are like 7-8 yrs old. he'll probably get plenty of room to shred/solo and do vocals and be as prominent on the stage as Craig, otherwise I doubt he would of joined them. at least i hope.
Hah are you serious? Thomas Erak has more talent in his little finger. Easily the best guitar player on that tour and one of the best guitar players of the last ten years. I think people need to discover The Fall of Troy before even attempting to slate Thomas.

no the fall of troy ended in 2010, Thomas started a band Just like Vinyl untill 2012 or so, then he joined chiodos
