The Smartpunk stage was a "B" stage and warped management didn't expect that kind of crowd... the guys in yellow were assigned to my stage and part of the tour,,,, the guys in blue were contracted locally,,, and they got scared... pretty sure they didn't understand the scene of the times... LOL.

I have to say I am very diss appointed with a lot of the comments here. This is an awesome look at a band that had no idea they were about hit certified gold two albums in a row.
From what I gather, the large security guard in the light blue shirt grabs the kid directly by his trachea/throat at 12:47 and 3 other guards have to carry him to safety because he can't get to his feet. Tim took note and shoves the guard at 12:37..and you can see the band's reaction at the end of the set. An amazing band, I hope they spoke to someone about the abusive handling.

If it was someone from the crowd, this wouldn't have happened if security had done their job to begin with and payed attention to the front of the stage and the sides.
Ok, so some clarification please. Is this with Spencer or Dallas? I'm asking because they dropped off the Warped tour in 2003 I think and booted Dallas from the band. Was that because of this incident? Or was this them actually playing on the 2004 tour with Dallas? Some of these dates are wrong as far as members go. Just wondering. Thanks!
Dallas left Underoath in July 2003, days before that year's Warped Tour. They canceled that date, calling in Matt Tarpey to fill in for a small tour in August and September. In October 2003 Spencer arrives, and the following year they are summoned again for the Warped Tour
Dude those “security guards” are ridiculous!!! The crowd should’ve just tore them up honestly. For anyone who knows who “Metro-State” and Jeremy Dewitte, these guys remind me of them & If you don’t know, search it up. GREAT entertainment.
@@sethh4628 Pretty sure Spencer wrote his parts on this record tho. I know there's an early version of Reinventing Your Exit with Dallas, and some elements were recycled, but Spencer contributed a lot to TOCS. Saying he did "karaoke" on this record is kinda underselling his contribution here.

This band is amazing man. I'm not really into this style of music anymore, but I will always love underoath. Great song writing.
