When I was a student back in 2000/2001 in Scotland you would see students throwing thousands worth of brand new items, 1 year old TV's every year, so it will be the same these days, what happens is people don't want to transport things back home or the are international students that can't or don't want to keep things..
These days if there's a new or nearly new laptop, a tablet, a guitar and maybe some of the nicer clothes they will take them home and the other stuff and the books all get left behind in the dorm room and thrown out in big shipping container sized dumpsters/skips that get hired in by the building caretakers...
Charity/goodwill stores could use that stuff but it basically all gets junked as there's so much and nobody wants to be bothered with it , a terrible waste of good items and money..

Those felt hangers are space-saving ones. I got rid of all my plastic hangers and bought those. It takes up less than half your space in your closet. And the clothes don’t fall off and you don’t get the little humps at the tops of your shoulders. Those are definite keepers. Thank you for another fantastic video!
JanSport backpacks are like $40+, always have been pretty durable for me. Throw it in the wash, good as new!
