This game brings back so many memories. Me and my friend used to bump the Bee Gee's greatest hits album and lay the smackdown for hours to the sounds of Stayin Alive and Night Fever. I enjoyed the movie Die Hard as a kid, but the game had nothing to do with it and I couldn't care less. DH Arcade was so good it became THE game we'd default to whenever we got bored with whatever else we were playing. The Saturn was honestly one of the best consoles ever, between NiGHTs, Burning Rangers, Panzer Dragoon, and so, so many others. Good times 😊

I love this game. There's a semi-secret sequel called dynamite cop 2. They couldn't get the license for die hard in Japan so they took bruce willis out and called it Dynamite Cop over there.

'Dynamite Cop" for the SEGA Dreamcast is its sequel and a much deserved and appreciated Continued? Moment in the making. But yeah regardless it's definitely a great follow up in the future for the same but improved gameplay
Probably the arcade machine that took the most quarters from me, though it's only Die Hard by virtue of being set in Nakatomi Plaza. After defeating the final boss in 2P mode the 2 players have a final duel. There's also a sequel set on a luxury ocean liner, which I don't believe has been used as a Die Hard setting yet.

Die Hard Arcade is known as Dynamite Deka in Japan, because in the Japan region they didn't have the rights to Die Hard. After they lost the rights to Die Hard in the US as well, they decided to just make a sequel to Dynamite Deka. Dynamite Deka 2, AKA Dynamite Cop in the US.
