My neurologist said Alzheimer's starts with dementia and ends in Parkinson's-like symptoms, whereas Parkinson's starts with tremors and usually ends in dementia. Research into Lewy Body dementia for example, helps both. So it's fine!

I live in central Europe, there is 13th century castle-fortress on a dormant volcano about 7km from the city I live in. EVERY single village has it´s own heraldry and story that goes with it.
I live in Pardubice, it´s heraldry is front half of the white horse on red field. Story goes when nobility was fleeing the city, the last one was riding on a white horse and the horse was cut in half by falling city gate.
I come originaly from small village which has diagonaly cut heraldry, with wolf´s head in red field and a stork on a blue field, signifying the fact that the village was set up in the middle of the woods and was about keeping ponds and lakes with fish to supply the city.
    love the Brets army!

If you get nostalgic about packaging again, I've found that a little clean up with a razor (such as cutting out the logos) turns them into nice labels for storage boxes for the figures. That way they fulfill that nostalgia and serve a purpose, instead of just sitting around collecting dust and taking up space.

Great video, and what a beautiful paintjob on these classic minis ! By the way, French viewer here, "Gueules" is actually still a word used in French. It means "maw", or any animal's mouth for that matter, including human ones in vulgar or familiar interjections. You got the etymology right though, and the way you pronounce it sounds just like the old folks in some parts the french Breton countryside say it ("Goule") which is accidentally pretty appropriate for your army. Cheers !

Always had a soft spot for bretonnians from back in the day, my warhammer fantasy journey started with the 5th(?) ed box, Brets v Lizards :)
Also, i know you are mainly focusing on the classic minis, but if i may make a suggestion for some 3d printable alternate minis, Lost Kingdom Miniatures doa like called the Kingdoms of Mercia, and they are a perfect fit for these knightly bois, i picked up the kickstarted myself back when it released, and i fell in love with their pegasus knights and the king on his giant mount, plus all the different knights.
Keep up the awesome work my dude, love your channel and content, though im still getting nightmares from the lamprey in the monster bash vids, those things freak me the feck out.

Great video! Digging the freehand advice! It always amazes me how these armies, filled with such a cacophony of colour and pattern, when all grouped together, feel so cohesive and just works so well.
(side note, Terrainosaur's foundation of choice is for Parkinson's - unless that was an inside joke with him I'm unaware of lol)

That’s a grail relique, when a grail knight dies, his followers carry around his bones, as the bones of a grail knight are blessed by the lady.

Very cool stuff. That was a great intro to heraldry and how to paint it. I've languished in a pit of despair in painting my own Bretonnians.

Impressed that you painted the model in the CoA of Thomas Montague: I portrayed him in my medieval reenactment society. He died at the siege of Orleans in 1428 when a cannonball smashed through a window he was standing by and the shrapnel took off half of his face.

My favorite WHFB Army! I was never so much into the grail lore but I loved the medieval knights. Most of my army was old 3rd Edition stuff when Bretonnia was more like the Burgundians but I always loved the medieval vibe over the more Renaissance vibe of the Empire.
I would love to see you build some Bretonnian inspired terrain, maybe even a keep or castle.

Great video! I recently sold five of my old Bretonnian mounted knights for, what seems like after watching your video, a distressingly low price. Never mind. Hopefully someone like you will paint them up nicely (because I didn’t 25 years ago). I did keep hold of my old men-at-arms though so I could use them for Heroquest and AHQ.
