Looks about right. I have a mechanical AutoMeter oil pressure gauge on my EA888 B8... It reads about 28psi at cold start idle... 22psi hot idle... up to 55psi while running through the gears.... motor is built... ~500 miles on it.
Hello I like Work U do on Audis I Need your advice My Audi a3 2008 2.0t if I acilarate It Los Power Start Shaking I Install New Turbo Same Thing What it Can Cause Hpfp?
I know you’re a big proponent of removing the cam bridge and balance shaft oil screens are those all removed in that 2.0? Those injectors seemed abnormally loud on that idle with the snappy gauge connected.. just curious but i know these direct port TFSi are notoriously loud I’ve never heard one quite. Great video.. yeah love to see more I’d like to see the fuel rail pressure too. Now with the reduced pressure switch out “Brown sensor” did the ECU throw a low pressure fault?
The camera will pick up noise like you wouldn't believe. I've had healthy engines sound like they have awful valve train noise on camera. You're right they are noisy engines but the mic can make it sound 2x louder than it actually is.
Any advice for a 2.0 tfsi having decent (above spec) pressure on cold start, then as engine temp rises pressure drops? Actually used to be a low oil pressure directly from start, turned out a blocked oil cooler was the issue, but I fear that issue may have starved some other parts and caused damage. Any thoughts bud?

I want to check my engine too. Thks Naptown!
Only problem I ever had, was because of the oil pump being bad. Replaced it and everything was fine.
I have a 1.8tfsi and oil lamp is turn on when engine warm up and is on idle rpm. What is the problem? I replace 2 oil sensors no difference
Please do a video on the oil pressure system.
Hey Naptowntuner I have a Audi Q5 2013 2.0T Having issues getting the car to stay turned over
Any tip or trick on setting new piston rings? I am worried I got the new ring put in wrong. To cylinders seem good two still not seated. Thanks!
Hello. Can we hone cylinder wals in 2.0 tsi VW audi?
Hey @naptowntuner I’m also in Indy. Where is your shop? i need some help with my 2016 Audi Q5. Oil consumption issues. 😔
Is that the normal pressure for the this audi?

Why does my fans stay on for like 4mins after shutting car off and both fans are at 100% speed at all times not when off they just stay on for 4 mins.
If you drive the vehicle hard the fans will stay on after to help with cooling
