I use Spotify, and it doesn’t show up like it does in this video. I’ve tried everything. It connects, but won’t play music through the car speakers. (Yes I have car radio as the device type in my blue tooth phone settings)

Thanks for the video Barrie, I’ve got a problem when I try and actually play the music from the phone (it’s connected all good and says Ford audio on my iPhone) when I press AUX a few times it keeps on switching back to the radio and pauses the music on my phone, any ideas on how to fix it?

You may have to press the button a couple of times until you can see the name of the track playing, and make sure the volume is turned up on your phone

Having issue with my daughters 2012 Fiesta Zetec, saying max amount of phones reached but when pressing debond no phones are showing then moves straight to line in. Car just purchased so really at a loss here.
Im not sure you are doing it right, perhaps this video is clearer, if not take the earth lead off the battery and leave it off for 30 minutes then try again (assuming that if the radio has a code to input if the battery is disconnected you have it)
@@micknufc not a clue, tried removing the corresponding fuses and replacing them, disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, and nothing has worked. Tempted to buy an apple carplay to replace the whole unit at this point, seeing as that’s the only other solution I can think of

I had the same problem with my 2013 ford fiesta for some reason it doesn't scroll around like his when he clicks Aux. Instead what I do is click Aux then hit the Menu button. From there hit Mediaplayer Menu, and then with the little arrows/joystick look for something that says Select Source, and find the Bluetooth Media. Mine is stuck in Aux Sync Line, and I don't know if it's suppose to be like that. Now I have to find a solution for that, and find a way for the Bluetooth to automatically connect.
@@AI3THEANSWER i would delete the radio off your phone, and the phone off the radio, then start again, it may give you the option of putting a tick in calls and audio
Make sure there is a tick next to bluetooth audio in the menu of the radio, or delete the phone from the radio, the radio from the phone, and start again making sure its paired for audio and calls
My ford bluetooth is connected with my iphone but my iphone doesn’t show ford audio to choose from. I cannot play my music in my ford but everything else is working like calls and messages.😢 could you help me. Thank you.
@@landon7459 you could try going into bluetooth settings and making sure there is a tick in the audio box, other than that i would delete your phone off the system and your system off the phone, switch the phone off completely for 30 mins and switch off and lock the car for 30 mins, if your radio doesnt have a code or it does and you have the code, i would take the earth lead off the battery for 30 mins, them re pair the phone to the system

it does work, trust me. if you set it so that itunes or apple music is playing, then switch to spotify and it should play
Just brought a fiesta and am having the same problem. The song shows up but nothing plays

You press Aux/source/or Media button (however its labelled) till you see your phone come up on the radio display or the name of the record

check that there is a tick next to paired for audio in the bluetooth menu
For mine, it says the list is full but I cannot debond. It just Hangs. Do you have any suggestions?

sounds like your car doesnt have audio streaming, or perhaps it isnt turned on, does your cars system show at the bottom of your itunes screen?
